@neogaiden no, it doesn't affect your xbox, it comes with a separate box which receives data like your tv and displays it over your pc and allows to record it, so alternatively your plugging your HDMI cables into a box instead of your tv, and it shouldn't get you banned from xbox live because it doesn't give you any advantage over other players. completely safe :)

I wanna get Rainbow Six Vegas for my PS3 now that I know these Hava settings well.

But my friend has the sequel and he can't play in 1080i (he has PS3 too).

I have some tips for best quality using Hava.

The Hava records in 720x480 interlaced in 16:9, what you can do for uploading to YouTube is deinterlacing the file (= making it 480p instead of 480i).

You can do that with programs such as VirtualDub, Corel's Videostudio, Sony Vegas, eRightsoft's SUPER converter, MediaCoder and much more.

yeah you can play in 720p and record. You can play in 1080i or 1080p to and record.

yea sorry for being a bit rude, a freind of mine thinks his hdtv's amazing because he can run in 1080i and bums his 360 so much and i was like you do realise i run all my games in full 1080p and they look nicer and you run games in 1080i which has lines on it lol

@Gamersunited22 My videos are all made with HAVA, it doesnt record in HD, it downscales to dvd quality.... But while ur playing, u can play in HD . Unlike other cards that make u play with the composite cables.

so thats why the 1080i looks shitty , cuz it aint 1080i ( when he was playing it was 1080, but doesnt get recorded in 1080)

You would use the HAVA PC PLAYER, it will find the Hava unit on your network, I dont have the wireless unit because my Hava box is near my router. You can also watch whats ever playing on your Hava box to your cell phone :)

Sorry I got confused. I thought you mean lag like FPS lagg or problems with network lagg like actions taking a few seconds to work as your playing online. But I see you mean lag as in the time it takes to appear on the PC screen after making the action on the TV screen as it has to travel through the wireless signal.

Well the quality is WAY better than youtube is playing it. I love this thing. I set it to record in widescreen. I might upload this to a file sharing website so you can see how good it really is.
