With only one person in Niaqornat speaking English, and being an outsider, Abigail Tucker does a nice job of giving us a taste of her experience.

god this woman sounds judgmental and presumptuous, failing even to pronounce something as basic as the names of towns correctly. it's sad that the smithsonian magazine sets such a low standard in journalism.
