  • Hey MrsGerbera1, can you tell me what you were experiencing when you couldn't identify the object and when you're motor cortex was being stimulated? Did you know that you couldn't indentify the object or did you think you were talking normal?

  • Hello Sarah...I admire you and your courage. This video is great and a great tool for those new to this procedure. I, myself, had 3 craniotomies, never awake, but have suture line depression after each. I find it more prominent at the top of my head than the sides, but yes it is normal as the skull settles, due to gravity. All the best to you beautiful lady!!

  • Hello Moejoe733, sorry for replying so late - yes I most definately have had indents and bone depression - indents all along the flap line - I would imagine its normal after such traumatic surgery where the bone needs to knit together again

  • Hi, I had awake brain surgery at the Queens Square hospital in London. Just wondering, post op have u noticed any indents or bone depression along the incision site?

  • umawake I rather be asleep!

  • @lestat34208 you have to be awake so that surgeons know if they have affected your speech centre etc
