@66ALicEiNCHaiNS06 I agree. I think the only reason STP got labled as grunge is becuase they got huge in the early 90's and pretty much anything rock back then was labled as grunge. They're more of a hard rock/alternative band. The same could be said about the Smashing Pumpkins. Grunge is probably my favorite rock genre. But, i'm a huge fan of metal also. Metallica is my favorite band. Their first 5 albums were great. And in my opinion Pantera saved metal in the 90's
