Usually, a few days after the Honeymoon, the wife will try to transform the husband in a way that fits her fancy. She will try to pick out your friends, tell you to sell the motorcycle (because your riding days are over), and go to church. Be prepared!
I actually think it is pretty cool you are not having alcohol at your wedding. If you want to sit around with your mates and have a beer or two, that's one thing, but you are getting married, don't need alcohol.
@MrMax89 My sentiments exactly! It's not like they can't drink, just if they want to, they have to pay for it :D I think we will have virgin cocktails on the tab too so it's not like there won't be yummy drinks to be had.
Hahaha I was talking about this exact same topic with my Mrs and her mate yesterday saying how I don't understand why so much money needs to be wasted on a wedding when you could have a kickass 3 month honeymoon instead! hahaha. Cool videos man, do you ride through Whitford / Maraetai often?
@zeocen Same here, I try head out there as much as I can when the weather is good. My mates all ride 600cc sport bikes and all they seem to use them for these days is commuting! I've only managed to convince them to come for a ride through Whitford twice in the past year and a half! Might see you around Maraetai, let me know if you would be keen for a group weekend ride through Whitford some time.
My sister-in-law spent $60k USD on her wedding. Could have put it towards a house, bought two cars, one nice car,six motorcycles, had some savings, financed hobbies, donated it to charity, done a million things more pragmatic, longer lasting, better in every way... instead they blew it all on one big party.
Wouldn't bother me as much if she let my brother spend $60k on one day for him, as well. Somehow it doesn't work that way. Double standard. People wonder why I don't want to get married.
@outerspaceonline Wowww, 60k is a lot. Ours is uh, just a smidge smaller than that budget haha! If I had 60k to blow on a wedding, I'd say f-that and put a downpayment on a house! (or 4 bikes)
I'm like you with the indicators, forever checking they're off. I was always getting shouted at by my instructor do not doing it, and that was a while back:)
@DubsIV You buy yourself a robotic arm first. then when you come up up someone waving you hit a button and it waves for you.. or flicks them off depending on the need. :)
@zeocen When you said wedding, I thought you were going to start talking about the Royal Wedding, so I ALMOST turned your video off - glad I gave you a chance and kept watching :P
"tags" lol sometimes i feel like just writing "tags" xD
congrats on the wedding! good choice on the no alcohol thing, not as fun, but a lot nicer and higher-class IMO

No real advice sorry just a tip.. When they say to death do you part...at first it is a vow and a year down the line, it becomes a goal. hehehehe
