  • I wish people would always move like this!!

  • why are the police still driving in those old relics??

  • The drivers name is Moses...

  • did i hear you say KED kit? invest in a speedboard...much better

  • that's why all our rigs are 4wd. we simply kick it in and take the gras median express all the way up to the scene. rough as hell but we get there quicker and dont risk motorists hittin each other gettin outta our way (actually happened 3 times to me, not fun)

  • Amazing driving! Excellent skills knowing where yer box is!

  • What part of Viginia is that

  • What's with the old ford crown police cruiser?

  • @navyguyhm3 budget cuts haha

  • @navyguyhm3 A lot of counties and troopers keep their old cars. My county has 20 cars from the 80's and 90's that are used regularly.

  • the "cucucucucucucucucuu..." sounds like toy gun

  • 15 year cop here AMAZED at how well people yeilded. This is my utoipan code driving dream. Here in California people would be moving into my path if I were in the same situation.

  • These people act like the grass is lava!!!

  • nice video

  • golly, i bet that was nerve Racking driving through the crowded traffic i mean. and great job

  • I sure hope no body died or was hurt to bad. Great driving BTW.

  • I sure hope no body died or was hurt to bad. Great driving BTW.

  • i wouldve drove on the grass man...but loving the parting of the red seas of traffic lolz

  • man, not to be a critic but, if I were you guys, I would have road the grass median, would have not fucked up traffic as much and would have been quicker. I bet traffic was really fucked up once you guys passed.

  • @nonamejoe56 - I totally agree with you but as the headline states "was fun" these are clearly glory boys, it was hardly difficult to 'part the seas' either given that American roads are 4 miles wide! Try it in a UK city and see how you get on, hence why we adopt an 'intelligent use of blue lights policy'

  • dude, awesome driving and even better vid! where is this? oh, wait, is this in PA?

  • dude, awesome driving and even better vid! where is this?

  • Nice!

  • What is the etiquette for driving on the wrong side of the road if you are an Ambo responding to a code 1?

  • I always wonder why the police don't try to shut down the previous intersection so that way any traffic built up will eventually pass. Guess they like just getting there and don't care that other have to sit in traffic.

  • @manetuck I'm not quite sure what you are talking about, shutting down the previous intersection, how would that help traffic flow? How long you have to sit in traffic is not the concern of the police or fire rescue, their job is to block off and secure the scene and assist the motorists.

  • I wish all drivers would do that.

  • Brilliant driving skills!

  • @buttlamo Might be a CSO officer.

  • Reminds me of the movie, Almighty God.... LOL LOVE it,,,, MAKE WAY im coming

  • i really like that you showed the out side of squad car, nice video,

so we know what the viewer is rideing in, kinda

  • i wanna have sirens on my car i wanna go trough traffic this way :D

  • 4:52 its starting to rain

  • Very Nice Driving! I work EMS in Kansas City and we have traffic, yours however get the F... out of the way! Awesome Driving guy! Also I Like to hear you and your partner discussing a game plan before you get on scene! Great video guys!!!

  • y not go the other way to respond the cross over the divider

  • @inventorchris2

I don't know about you, but it would be tougher to go through traffic coming AT you, and it would be even more dangerous if it wasn't crowded (meaning cars were going faster). plus I saw guardrails most of the way and the ground dipped down.

  • Air ambulances is da shit. Nice work anyway. :)

  • that would never happen in newyork

  • @coty734 FIRE LANE is difficult to understand for New Yorkers... ;)

  • WOW!! Where is this? I want to work Here! I wish people did this and would pull over in CA!!! Outstanding Driving!!!!! SOPs to a tee! Great Job!!!

  • Amazing what a loud siren, a good airhorn, and a lot of lights can do...

  • damn thats the best heavy clearing taffic ive ever seen. thats a safe and fast response. 5starz and more vids plz.

  • First responders and military are America's Bravest. Thank you

  • @Ske3t18

First responders try to preserve life. Military are trained to end life.

  • Nice movie!' ;)

    Very good driving job. :D

  • What a beautiful site, gotta love it when a response goes this smooth.Damn good job!!!

  • epic! love it when this happens

  • I hate driving in conditions like that. There is always one idiot that wont move with traffic and sits there completely stopped.

  • whats up with the old cop car are you in VA looks like a VA state trooper

  • at 2:18 you could have got on other side of road to go faster?

  • ya little late to the posts, but that was f n awesome!

  • @3:29 "*mumble* *mumble* my ambulance is" "I'm sorry?" "I gotta remember where my ambulance is"

  • night lighting set up :)

  • @buttlamo I agree with you 100% why was there a 1980's police car there. lol I know bugets are tight but damn comon cant u get a up to date car. unless it was a first respounder and it was his POV. not sure i thought the clip was back in the 80's until i was looking around and seen the updated cars on the rd and i am like WTF lol

  • Jesus... now that's a lot of effin traffic..... you did show Moses lmao!!!

  • when people pull over to part, shouldnt they straighten out? wouldnt that give you guys more space?

  • @aznwilly211 with the way many drivers are to emergency vehicles these days, I'm sure they were thrilled when this much traffic moved out of their way like that.

  • nice driving!

But it looks like many car drivers don't really want to clear the way or stop for you ^^

  • this video always amazes me everytime i re watch it

  • this is why we have a hard shoulder in England!! we can get to the scene quicker and easier

  • was that a cop or a piolit car?

  • Jesus, I have never seen anyone move like that.

  • that was amazing, i wish ppl did that for the police!

  • wow, i wish people pulled over like that for me, i g2 go into oncomeing traffic and lay on the airhorn

  • lol

I would hate driving an ambulance. Gotta be stressful.

  • Thats some nice driving, good job!

  • Nice video career, or volunteer? part em like your Moses.

  • And even the State Trooper is running strobes as opposed to LEDs. . . in my state the police have been running LEDS since 2005.

  • WOW! That is heavy traffic! What city is this?

  • not a city, its ashburn a town in the suburbs or washington dc

  • thats an old ass police car

  • haha that is awesome. t kinda reminds me of that scene in Bruce Almighty when he moves all the cars

  • @WartownComp1 reminded me of the same exact thing lol

  • damn, if I were that driver I would tell the guy in the passenger seat to shut the hell up and let me drive, he is so anoying!!!

  • Wow! I know this video is from 07, but they were still using THAT model Crown Vic?! Dangerous!

  • The part almost at the end of the video were some or maybe u, said ! OK HERE WE ARE ! was for me super funny......is the last thing i would of thought of hearing. LOL

  • This video is very good. I play the video and i told my self: u guys on your way there start planing the ur task's to help one another on getting pts treatment quicker and thats part of ur team work...to bad in some areas not everybody work the same. knw was that u MPD01605 who so jested how it should be play out one's u got there????

  • Virginia?

  • but really so many DUMBASSES on the street.. h oh men.. i have emotions with the team :<

  • well you can tell the stupid drivers apart from the others they just sit there like an idiot

  • nice driving...just like me when im responding in our fire appliance.nice and acertive

  • That looks good! Better than in Germany.

  • Nice and steady. That's what I like to see too. Did you guys have another vehicle to block your scene? We typically pull up on the other end of the accident and let Fire do all the blocking so we aren't exposed to the traffic when loading our patient. Nice pace and it's good to see that someone else talks up a game plan on approach to the scene. Great job guys.

  • SWEAT SWEAT SWEAT GOOD DRIVIN .......

  • Sweat? Do you mean SWEET? lol

  • holy crap yes SWEET OOOOW HELL TO MUTCH BEER THAT NIGHT .... THANKS LOL

  • I woulda took that ambulance offroading and skip the whole line

  • do you have any idea how much some of these rigs weigh? your not gonna go far off roading. They will just sink into the dirt best to keep them on the road as much as possible

  • Thats true especially if is raining....

  • but then all the equipment would get bashed up in side. and thats alot of traffic

  • there is always trafic like that to your way to delaware beaches

  • That was incredible, never before have I seen the commuters actually move out of the way so efficiently. Very nice

  • That's what i was thinking, it's rare for all drivers to pull out of the way how there suppose to

  • You said it tornado and i agree all our vehicle stay on the road unless we have not had rain in days. Usally about five to safely take the medic off roading.

  • @BoxerTwoZero Thats cuase they acctually respect EMT'S and the ambulances

  • Wow impressive. Nice state with people that actually listen. Wow very impressed.

  • How bad was the accident

  • 4:45 that police car has got to be like 25 years old. how weird. but pretty cool video

  • what part of virginia was that in? ...i live in bristol

  • Not too bad for EMS lol.

  • thats a VA STATE POLICE car at the end with the blue strobes

  • Good video...strange to see that 80s Crown Vic though...

  • Moses couldn't have done better

  • Ok mabybe this is not PA, maybe VA or MA I can't tell now??????????

  • Ashburn, Virginia...northwest of washington

  • i would hate to be in that traffic. but good driving and nice ambulance.

  • You have no idea what youre talking about dude.

  • Boy that radio car in front of u guys was vintage. late 80s early 90s if im not mistaken

  • thats an old ass cop car.. why is that?

  • It's one state trooper's personal vehicle that he's kept and restored and now patrols in from time to time.

  • Wrong... You hear them say it's the chaplain's car.

  • No it's the CAPTAIN's car - his personal car. It's a state trooper captain's personal car that is black & white and it has "CAPTAIN" in gold letters on the door.

  • youre stupid, its the chaplain. It says CHAPLAIN, learn how to read

  • The same reason a chaplain comes to the hospital, when someones gravely injured, they give them their last rights, and a blessing. Do you not work in EMS?

  • I've NEVEr heard of a chaplin going to a car accident, I have heard of them going to the hospital.

  • Well, theres a first time for everything isnt there.

  • Someone might of died on scene.

  • That was a great job of "doing the Moses" on that traffic. I've found over the years that going down the middle like that, rather than one shoulder or the other, seems to give you a better shot of getting to where you need to go. Great job!

  • Driving on the Left shoulder would not have been a good idea. You pick up debris from previous accidents, glass, bits of metal etc. There could be uneven surfaces, metal drain covers etc or even soft ground. I drove Police cars for years in London and I reckon he made the right choice.

  • We wonne se the rest of the film!!!! Thump´s up for you and partner :)

  • Great driving, but if it was me i would drive on the left hand shoulder

  • wow great job driving, if it was my dad he would have be pushing people with the truck lol

  • this was aweseome, thx for sharing... here in germany our sirens are so bad... i want a code 3 damnit

  • awesome, love the title...

  • Hes a Chaplain you asshole...

  • thank god you live in a city where people have common sense...

you def not going to see that in waco texas

  • Sorry, but LMFAO on the siren!

  • oh the days. stretched out sleeping with eyes wide open, eating beanie weanies from a can and waiting for the next call.

  • In Germany we have a law which says that emergency vehicles have to pass the traffic jam between the left lane and the lane adjoining the the left. This principle is called "Rettungsgasse", which directly translated means "rescue alley". Drivers are legally obligated to create such a "Rettungsgasse". If you want, you can enter "Rettungsgasse" here at youtube in order to see some videos about how it works here in Germany!

  • GREAT DRIVING! 5*

  • i kept thinkin bruce all mighty all the one part with the cars down town scene looks alot like that..

nice lane choice :D lol would have payed hell on the other side.

  • LMAO!! HOLY CRAP! haha wow!! That's amazing!! Awesome response tho!

  • HOLY CRAPOLA! HAHAHAHA lmao

  • great siren work!!

  • very nice........always a problem with them big ambulances in heavy / close trafic...but good driving

  • That is a really nice crown vic that trooper is driving. 4:45

  • ive run into some messed up traffic before but that was awsome, love the vid keep em coming

  • Awesome video......simply awesome..

  • That must have been awesome! Great video man, post more! I'm quite surprised they actually moved like they did, impressive.

  • Was that a police officer you guys were following in? That is a really old Crown Vic, and lightbar, that he was driving.

  • In massachussetts your lucky if people move for you at all.

  • nice! would love the whole thing BTW nice use of siren, love that airhorn

  • AWESOME!

  • I'd love to see the whole thing.

  • 0:43-0:45 - "Yeah, middle lane, how about you shut up and let me drive."

  • I keep watching this. This video is epic

  • MPD0165, i think you should totaly post the whole video, i think it would be neat to see, as long with educational , you guys really seem to have a hand on emergency vehicle opps

  • uh, thats way too fast, what good would an ambulance do if it were involved in an accident

  • We know your inteligent and correct...Afterall you have youtubes best soft core porn collection in your favorites.

  • lol! what has my youtube collection got to do with my intelligence?! I have letters after my name. Do you? All I was saying was that, in the UK, we would be going much faster, but then again perhaps that's because inthe UK people react better to blues and two's and get out of the way. I have been passed by a traffic car doing 70mph plus in the middle of the road, as people have gotten out of the way in plenty of time.

  • Don't think ambulances over here would go that fast fella. Especially the crappy quiet sirens we have and arse holes on the roads.

  • the ford E-series goes pretty fast lol

  • Great driving.

  • Read my comment. I believe you sir, are wrong.

  • It's not a police car. It's the chaplain. MPD said in an earlier comment.

  • that was a real sweet video of parting the sea. good job driving, use of sirens

  • Wouldn't it have been easier to use the grass center? Or is it too muddy or bumpy?

  • Yeah it wasn't suitable for driving. It's a little steeper than it looks, plus the wet grass. That's not a good mix for a 5-ton vehicle.

  • this is when you wish an ambulance had a federal

  • were trained to use the KED too

  • It probably would have been easier to go up the opposing inside lane. Oncoming traffic sees you well enough to avoid an accident and response would have been faster. Seems crazy but it works.

  • to dangeous

  • I agree. Going into opposing traffic is always dangerous.

  • If you're gonna go in the opposite lane you mine as well put a gun in your mouth and pull the trigger, it'd be less painful than driving head-on at 70 mph.
