I have this pedal but it sounds waaaaaaaaaay better than his. Cranked thru the P/A - speaker combo that i play thru, it sounds like a cranked tube amp, so fat and warm with lots of sustain but stays crunchy when i play soft, backing off the volume sure cleans it up nicely though. I use it as my lead distortion and I use the BD-2 blues driver for my rythms.
actually, i have it, and it behaves better than he showed. i think he had his settings kind of high so the change is more dramatic, but it actually sounds better (more natural) on a more subtle setting. get this, but don't think that this is the only distortion pedal you'll need.

@cole3823 It would work with any input, the machinery has no way of identifying what you've plugged in! :P You could even put a mic into it :)

how soft do u have to pick for a clean sound??? cuz i dont wanna have to pick like a little girl to get a clean sound.
