@Light23K The G37 is NOT $34K for the base. It's $36K + another $3K for taxes etc. And I just rented a 2012 Infinity G37/4 door rear wheel drive at Hertz and the only good thing about it is the fast engine and smart-key. The car had 870 miles and the road noise was HORRIFIC, the Bose sound system is all about bass and even with the treble at high the high notes sound very bad, averaged 19 mpg's in combined city/highway...my 04 TL is quieter with a much better stock radio/mpg's

Never liked this car. I still do not like this model. Car has way too many buttons and the styling is too over the top. I never really even considered Acura as a true luxury brand. Just my PERSONAL viewpoints. Do not have a stroke, it's just a car.

I had the last good looking TL, an '03. This is still ugly albeit less ugly than the last model. Ross you need to get your eyes checked if you think that last one looked good. At least the interior is still good. The biggest problems I had with mine was that the backseat did not fold down like it does in the Hondas which they did not fix and that the car understeered massively when you gave it power which it still seems to do also.

I've had 3 BMWs and was looking at the new Audi A6 when I test drove the 2012 Acura TL Advance SH-AWD. Guess which is in my garage now? Aggressive performance, incredible handling, fantastic power and enough technical wizardry to make a PS3 jealous on the dash makes the Acura the big winner, plus I keep the 25k difference in my bank it would cost to match the German cars. And did I mention I get more compliments every day on my Black 2012 Acura TL Advance SH-AWD than I ever did on the BMWs.

Still tragically ugly, though I have seen some TLs where the chrome "snapping-turtle beak" grille is painted the same color as the body panels. This vastly improves the look and makes its appearance just tolerable enough that I'd seriously look into getting one. When it's time to retire my MS6, I'll be looking on the used market for a manual AWD TL.

They are nice cars. I had a 2002 TL Type-S that ran forever. I ended up selling it because I became bored with it and was out of warranty.

Subaru has one of the best AWD systems in the business. AWD is priceless in the winter, anyone living in the northeast knows this!

Best all wheel drive system on the market? Acura's marketing got to you? Kidding, but I do have to disagree. There are a couple of mags out there that do yearly all wheel drive comparos (in snow, mud and asphalt) and Quattro, Porsche and the WRX come out on top 90% of the time.

I heard that Honda is going to revamp the Si yet again cause people where complaining that the suspension was to soft and was still under powered. I love my 8th Gen Si. So I'll be waiting to see your review on it. Was Ross doing the review on the Si? I know he loves Honda/Acura productions so it will be nice to what he has to say about it.. : )
