  • heard this song thousands of times, downloaded and learnt also.. suddenly thought to see the actual video of the picturisation.. i'm stunned that this great song is NOT picturised on some super big star (no offence).. this clearly shows the devoutness of the music composers.. they USED do music for the sake of music.. not to satisfy one's fan-mail or anyone's stardom !!!

    Great 80s Hindi music :)

  • Sometimes when you leave your homeland, your body (tan) may leave, but the soul (mann/ ruhh) is often left behind. Then, you may be condemned to live a painful existence of a body in one place, and heart in another place.

  • a huge roller coaster of memories is running whenever i listen this song,,,,,,,, enjoy all the time..

  • WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO BOLLYWOOD NOW A DAYS?

Why their standards are so down?

They make all pornos and slutty movies like Dirty Picture, RaOne COPYING West.

They need to learn something form such wonderful movies like Golmal.

Btw, i get emotional whenever i listen this song. <3

  • @Photon98 Most of the masala movies of 70s were as good, if not bad, as Ra.One...Regarding slutty movies kindly check 70s Feroze Khan, Dev Anand & Raj Kapoor movies(they had real nudity in them)...Movies like Golmaal were the part of the new age wave of parallel cinema back then and thus had a pretty high standard in every respect and carved a niche among limited audience quite similar to the parallel cinema of today, unlike the masala potboilers which have existed forever.

  • Home is where the heart is! One should learn to survive wherever one ends up. This is life fellas...We come alone, we go alone...What doesn't kills us makes us stronger! Lets not be little girlies...

  • Dunno Y i am nostalgic abt this song ... born in 1989, but i feel like i have been der !

  • These irritating ads are only going to make youtube worse. They should not be shown. No one likes watching them.

  • me too, I am in Australia in searching of career. But what when you lost those who you want to show your success. Now I have success, but I don't have my Mom to show it. I lost my Mom and I couldn't go back. it's been 2 years now. I didn't see my mom for last 3 years. However I am going to India in this November, getting married etc. the starry boy I do agree with you, whoever lives his student life overseas he can live in any worst circumstance and can achieve success easily.

  • @suhel1986 HEY DUDE i AM SORRY TO HEAR that, God bless u, I hope God gives u strength to face life..I hope u get all the success, I am a student in Canada myself and I totally relate to all what u and starryboy and others have said, life is really tough here overseas, and the comments by all nri brothers here are a testimony to that, 2-3 useless cheapos like nusrat, 1mxcc and superpoytya have shown their slum upbringing here with filthy abuses, ban these bastards

  • @suhel1986 dude...i really feel bad for u...ur story brought tears to my eyes, whoever ur mom is she must be feeling proud of u....God bless u buddy

    Jayant Bose

  • @suhel1986 Oh man I feel sorry for your mom and for u . Whatever reason it many be but that worse when u cant see your mom man when she was on death bed. You went after your dream so much that u forget something. Seriously I think u are bad example here. I hope same thing doesn't happen with u when ur kids are all grown up and migrate

  • @Iamcamper9 kuch bhi bol mat yaar..its not like his mom told him she will die ...maybe his mom passed away suddenly, who knows? who are you to judge him? and If there is some1 who is setting a bad example , then it is u, it is very insensitive of u 2 put such a comment on somebody's sad story.

  • @TheStarryboy good comment bro. GOD bless u

  • @suhel1986 dude seriously u r setting bad example here

  • @sriramhariharan thanks for ur kind comment sir...i am trying to do that

  • @TheStarryboy hey are you allright?!!!!! :|

  • @TheStarryboy

Dont worry..everything gonna be okay :)

  • @TheStarryboy

you cant get a gf in US? just asking.

  • @TheStarryboy stop crying, grow a pair of balls, you sissy - or pack your bags and go back to mommy. millions of other kids from around the world would love to take your place.

  • @Nusrat5791 i am not crying, i am just remembering the good times I had in India, I never said USA is bad, I said India is good and we should appreciate it and The lovely friends and family I had, seems like you do not have basic manners on how to talk with people, I understand, lets have a deal i will surely grow a pair of balls, in the meanwhile you improve your manners and communication skills , u sound like a drunkard who beats up his wife,

  • @Nusrat5791 what kind of language is this?? you dirty stray dog. DO NOT INFEST SUCH BEAUTIFUL songs with your vulgur and insensitive comments, seems like ur pea sized brain did not understand what starryboy had said and ur rersponse is even more pathetic. Loser , it is because of people like u that youngsters face a hard time.

  • @superpoytya truth hurts, i guess. "starryboy" or sissyboy was all - oh woe is me - i am so unlucky..i have to come to america to study..from a country where millions of children still eat off garbage....oh i am so unlucky!

so i gave him a dose of truth, where are you getting your panties all bunched up, superpoytya [where the fuck do you guys get these handles?]

anyways, if you are bothered then fuck you! and please learn how to spell.

  • @Nusrat5791 fuck that starry boy now, the fight is between u and me, u r telling me how 2 learn 2 spell?? rofl by the language u r using , going bu ur language u seem 2 have dropped out of school, infact i am sure u were kicked out., I am sure ur mother was a prostitute who got fucked by all bhadwaas( pimps) and a third grade bastard like u was produced, go back 2 school u drunk drug addict, I pity that pig who fucked ur whore moma , he has wasted his sperm , motherfucking bastard FUCK U

  • @superpoytya "the fight is between u and me" oooh, i am so scared! btw. it should be - the fight be between u and I, not "u and me". you idiot.

it seems like i am wasting my time with an inbred like yourself, who is utterly bereft of logic and devoid of even an iota of intelligence, or you would have understood that what i was telling starryboy aka crybaby was not only accurate but just the kick in the butt he requires. spoiled hypocrites like him, & motherfuckers, like you really piss me off.

  • @Nusrat5791 you and i will continue this back and forth until one of us gets bored [seems it will be me, since your attacks are sans wit ]. oh, how i wish i could encounter you or your ilk in real life. indeed, i would give a months salary for an opportunity to come across you..late night in a deserted alley. oh, how i would put my shoes to "good use". i knew people like you back in school in india - who were all talk when the odds were in their favor but just when the tide turned....:))

  • @Nusrat5791 ROFL, ACTUALLY i enjoy fighting with fucktards like u, omg u even went 2 a school?? how the fuck that bar dancer mom of urs afford u 2 send u 2 a school? Damn u idiot, it is a not a school, it was ur mom's brothel, u call that school? LOL, u even earn a salary? rofl, i never knew masturbating all day was considered as a joband u get paid for it? u middle aged faggot, dont talk such dirty things, meeting u alone in a dirty alley in night AND ALL lmao, u fucking GAY TWAt,

  • @Nusrat5791 Well, I am man enough to admit my english is not the best. I am an Indian and I LIVE IN India and I speak 5 languages, my english is fluent enough for me to converse with others and understand what they r talking, I have a high paying job and my technical skills are enough to keep me happy and not knowledge of english, seems like u are too much obsessed with english because UR MOM WAS FUCKED AND RAPED DAILY by ENGLISH GORAS ( HAHAHAH) U R A SLAVE OF BRITISH U ISLAMIC TERRORIST

  • @Nusrat5791 i am an inbred? at least it is better than being a by-product of multiple fathers like u r. u urself do not know who the fuck ur dad is, heck even ur own mom does not know who ur dad is as the bitch has made a double or triple century in terms of sleeping with all kinds of men...seems like u r the 1 without any intelligence, u urself did not get my point in the first place , motherfucking assholes like u who only know 2 abuse and have ZERO intelligence PISS ME OFF

  • @TheStarryboy

Dear, byan karda bereham haqeeqtain zindigi ka hissa hain. Aap aek achchay maqsad yani aala taleem se apni zindigi behter bananay aay hain. Yeh mushkilat aap Mombay, Kolkata ya Delhi mein bhi face kartay agar ghar se door ho tay. Jab mein Lahore, Engineering kay liay gaya tau Hostel mein rehta tha. Eay geet sun kar aesi hi kefiat taree hui thi jo aap par hui aur mein Lahore ki galyon mein der tak akela ghoomta raha. Wahan logon ko dekh kar tanhai ka ehsaas kam hua. Datay rahoo.:)

  • @TheStarryboy May Almighty save you. Don't let loose this moment too, This moment has come with its very own lessons...... once it will be over and you will cry with the rejoice just to remember how brave you were to face this all alone.

  • @TheStarryboy ; it's a harsh reality in usa. I have lived here all my life, we are lucky that we have entire clan. I understand you situation. my child is studying abroad, we make an effort that every other month , one family member visits her. At first, i was shock to see her condition, not so well kept building but she said that it's norm. You have to be very rich to study in USA, be careful with people you make friends. Find Indian community in your area, where's ur school in usa

  • @TheStarryboy You are right, But look you are in USA for good reason, so try to concentrate on yours education , future and career and then you can back in yours home land india to serve your country in better way, I went to UK for education and same way i missed Pakistan but i came back and started resume my studies in my country, any how wish you the best of luck bro...........................

  • @TheStarryboy hey same here..just arrived in the US and already missing family. songs like these keep u going!! kishore kumar u are irreplaceable!!!

  • @TheStarryboy

abe dukhi lund...yaar u made me n my friend's day by writing this. especially the stand off between your friend "superpoytya" and "nusrat". although i do agree with nusrat that u r a sissy...."poverty, no food to eat at times, quarrelsome and rude roommates, loneliness, frustration"..wtf !!! bt your friend sure can comment very nicely..also proving you are a sissy and cant speak for yourself!

  • @1mxcc1 nusrat is a pakistani terrorist, i do not know how third grade squandrels like superpoytya, nusrat and urself even exist, all of u 3 are nothing else but internet tigers. btw nusrat started all this with abusive comments, i mean wtf, what is the problem with u guys if sum1 wants 2 express his opinion?Did he say something 2 u?? and btw I will not call some1 a sissy if he just says" I love my country" , if u call sum1 who appreciates his family /country as a sissy then u r a retard

  • @TheStarryboy Hey Man, Just want to say "Chin up, life gets better, life in US moves so fast last week is a long faded memory, before you know you move through life and settle down into more comfortable existence." We have all been there. a poor Indian grad student desperate for something more". I remember crying my heart our when I first heard the song from Mahesh Bhatt's film "Chitti Aayi hi, vatan ki". That was 18 yrs ago,Trust me, US is a very kind and accommodating place! Good luck!

  • @keener63127

I would respectfully like to disagree with your pov. I am sure that the India you saw is hugely different from the one i recently left. With such a young demographic, nothing but good can come out of the place. I completely agree with your point that the US is a very accommodating and pleasant place. No other country that I know of, including India would give so much to complete foreigners. But home will always be home!

  • @keener63127

Also to add to my point, the question that I face now is, am i willing to spend the next two and the most important decades of my life in the US, lead a rich life and miss the growth in India or would i rather go home fight it out while i still can, lead a peaceful life and then settle down? I would like to go in for the latter and i am confident that i wont regret it!

  • @smmanoha I was not talking about life in India at all, much less about poverty or otherwise in my comment. Not sure, where you got that impression. I was talking about being poor in US as a grad student and not having family around. A grad student in India is not poor at all, especially with the good stipend one gets there. Whereas a grad student in US, even with 20 hr scholarship, is still desperately poor, can not really afford much, with looming job and visa worries.

  • @TheStarryboy and @suhel1986

It is never too late guys! Trust me. This coming from another emigrant. Went through the same emotions when i landed here in the US a year ago. I just do not understand people who actually end up staying here. All i can hope for is that they are happy and true to themselves. India is on brink of explosion guys. Never seen before growth i tell you. Chasing the conventional "success" (read study and setup a place abroad) is only going to bring you pain.

  • Take what you can from land you reside, build a base back home and travel all over the globe! That is what i feel would keep your spirits up. Be close to your family, work hard and hope to die in peace. This would be my definition of success!

    Cheers to all

  • same situation for me here in sydney

  • @TheStarryboy Looks that as if I wrote that, I feel like I should go back home, but I am kind of stuck. Loans that I can never pay by earning in India. I wish I never had the idea of coming here.

  • @TheStarryboy I hope your luck changes soon and I wish you all the best man. I'm sorry you are having a rough time in the States. Keep a positive outlook on life though, even when it's hard. Try to make friends who aren't in your social circle. It will widen your perspective and help ease your life here. Again, all the best.

  • Eternal song ...would ever ever be heard. Can anybody say who was the lyricist ?

  • These are the only gems left of Indian films. KK is the best. These stars were once our Indian pride. Today, Indian cinema sells skin because that's what sells. An unfortunate turn of events that has caused us to lose the respect we once had.
