  • i guess god gave the FDNY built in SCBA's....com'on boys, i respect you but that's just unsafe.

  • Did somebody set that on fire?

  • Did that guy throw something under the car?

  • @CinemaDeMineCraft no he was putting snow on the fire trying to put it out. the pop you heard was the tire of the car from the heat.

  • @HELPxOPPSx Lol you are a fail at life. U mad bro?

  • @CinemaDeMineCraft what are talking about i answered your question. I get the feeling you dont believe me so if :14 seconds you see he has snow in his hand then at :25 seconds you see the snow is no longer in his hands as well he was in a motion one would be in as if they were throwing something. oh and you fail at being a dick.U mad bro?

  • @HELPxOPPSx Nah bro u mad.

  • @CinemaDeMineCraft if you say so.

  • hey dumbass its new yorks bravest

  • Wheres the SCBA???

  • shit car

  • Just FYI, its FDNY not NYFD.

  • I love it, car is on fire and the owner is nowhere to be found. Only in New York, but have to give the NYPD officer props for wanting to know where the freaking owner of the car is.

  • You people love to worship cops and firefighters, stop watching so much tv !!!

  • 1 word to describe new york firefighters - HEROES

  • This video is living proof that both police officers and firefighters have the same dream...to be firefighters.

  • My bad folks. It was the first time i was in NYC :3 i'll note next time i film a burning car lol

  • its FDNY

  • @bfdengine2 And it's NY's Bravest, not Finest as he was referring to the FF's that showed up.

  • Who's da drivah? DRIBAH!

  • @Chaikovskyrules Lol,I was gonna type the same thing.Best part is they are hammering metal on metal by the gas tank a good spark and away they go.

  • @wannabenj seriously? your not a firefighter let them do the job the way they do it, the right way.

  • @01superduty89 I was a fire fighter for 20 years

  • @wannabenj no no no, If u were you wouldnt of said something so stupid.... the gast tank isnt leaking is it, no its not a hazmat at this point and even are take a while to set of a gas explosion... Ive been a firefihter just over a year now and I know just by ur comment youve never even been close to a firehouse

  • @01superduty89 Yes Probie I was a fire fighter.I was a volly, wanna be firefighter.U have a lot to learn b4 you open your mouth.I was kidding around with the comment up there. What is scarey is someone, like you,who thinks they know more than what they actually do.You know people don't lnow how stupid you are until you open your mouth and then prove how stupid you really are.To call someone stupid only proves how ignorant you actually are.So keep following the trucks on your Huffy bike and learn.

  • @wannabenj Im not a probie first off, and If u werent a moron u wouldnt of made a stupid comment. Besides pay what makes a volley different from paid.....nothing. the fire doesnt care if ur a volley paid or a civilian. you were never a firefighter face it.

  • @01superduty89 Probie,Probie Probie,You a a probie.And a mongoloid too.Get on your huffy like a good little girl.Face it Probie You are a probie who rides the short bus with a helmet on.No need to write back PROBIE.I ain't reading.HAHAHAHAHA

  • @Crazyfogfighter To all calls firefighters do that.

  • That's my car YO! WTF!!

  • by the way it's FDNY not NYFD :P

  • that's what happens when oil gets on your engine

  • LOL the guy throwing snow at the car..

  • If you want to get technical, it's FDNY, not NYFD... but good video nonetheless.

  • the guy in the begenning throwing snow lol

  • Nice brier pipe that guy on the sidewalk is smoking at the beginning of the video.

  • and im far from perfect but whats with the guy in the fdny jobshirt and white beannie forcing the trunk...

  • love it it's a car fire and the hook and can man still shows up with his hook and can

  • #1 y does it take so long to get a charge line on that fire

#2y does th guy in the car still try to go when the police continously told him to stop

#3 and i love the cops accent *wheas da driva, wheas da driva* and then his hand gestures for driver

  • @joemagliari simple its new york

  • @joemagliari answer to #1 who cares itsa a car fire answer to #2 we new yorkers are idiots and answer to #3.... i agree thats funny

  • Just for your information: NYPD is referred to as "New York's Finest" and the FDNY is referred to as "New York's Bravest."

  • BRAVEST NOT FINEST

  • its FDNY not NYFD you stupid prick.

  • I know nothing really came outta this... but

poor positioning of the apparatus NO SCBAS??? suppose to come at car at a 45??

just piss poor in my view

  • Interesting that the NYPD showed up in addition to the FDNY. Maybe because it was a very populated area? I was in Brooklyn for many years in the 80's and there were always abandoned cars being set on fire in the neighborhood. I don't recall the police ever coming. It would usually be one fire truck (a pumper truck) that would show up with a handful of guys. They'd put the fire out and leave. If the cops did respond at all, they'd be the last to show up, long after the fire department arrived.

  • @mrderekevan I don't know exactly how it operates in NYC but in Ottawa, Canada where I live, police always show up to fires because fires are known as crime scenes until the cause of the fire is stated as not related to arson.

  • @mrderekevan Traffic control and Identify the owner for insurance purposes and reporting.

  • did u call 911? Call 911 first, film later

  • well u mixed them up fdny = cavalry nypd = ny finest :P

  • now i wanna play emergency 4 los angeles mod 2.0 :D

  • good camera !!!!

  • CARBECUE =-)

  • 1:25 its new york's bravest finest is for the nypd :)

  • lol i love the people walkin buy like its a everyday thing

  • @JasonBrodbeckWebsite i know right but that was only at the beginning eventually there were two groups of spectators. i've seen a live fire put to rest by fire fighters on my very block it was a house across the street from engulfed in flames @ 4 in the am.

  • @omfgCantGetaUsername damnnn i even look and get interested when a police car rides by in the car lol

  • @JasonBrodbeckWebsite It's not NYers uninterested attitudes that gets me it's there impatient attitudes all the honking brushing by you in a hurry that can be annoying. I'm from an urban area as well where's there's attitudes rudeness but not all the hyper adrenaline characteristics. In my head I'm like "calm down you're gonna get where you're going!" that's what I would think when I use to visit my sister when she went to school there but other than that it's nice.

  • Nothing like trashing the car with hand tools when you could just use the trunk release...

  • @thekiwicanuck stick your fingers in a flaming hood?

  • @bllymcgvrn123 I didn't say hood, I said trunk, and the trunk isn't flaming. You don't have to stick your fingers in it, you use the lever provided in the cabin and it pops open.

On second view it appears they did have a look for the trunk release but couldn't find it, hence resorting to hand tools...

  • @thekiwicanuck yep, read it wrong. oops

  • FDNY

  • cavalry is here :L

  • @TheDrummerGuy101 yeah.. i speak-ah a good engrish :P

  • USE THE DECK GUN! 10 sec burst and ur done! lol

  • poor lincoln

  • I can't wait to go to New York in September

  • @pearldrumsarecool I'm sure you would have a blast!

  • @pearldrumsarecool I love New York I lived in Brooklyn for half my life. I miss every bit of it.

  • FYI: East 36th Street & 3rd Avenue, Manhattan. Engine 21 and Tower Ladder 7.

  • @dcampagna1772 Whoah.. you a reporter, a firefighter, or something?? thx for the info!

  • @xpo147 tower ladder 7 they had a spare truck in this video.

  • @xpo147 he lives in nyc, and probably listens to the online fdny scanner or have his own.

  • great vid. best wishes, mike, czech

  • @jezek21 Thank you! I've recently got into posting "raw" vids to allow viewers draw conclusions from their perspective. That and a burning cars isn't something you see everyday! thx for the comment!!

  • yea man, they dont waste any time

  • love how quick they get to work

  • @shawnster26 I don't know when the car started firing up, but notice the vid is less than 5min long --so yeah, these guys are faaaast!

  • Hum they don't seem to be in an hurry to extinguish the fire. Looks like they are admiring the car and looking at the cool interiors while there is a fire raging 20 cms from them. I bet the insurance company was pissed

  • @nwahforever I love the NY accent --"Where's the driva??" HAHAHA

  • @nwahforever They were not admiring the interior of a town car, they were doing a primary search of the vehicle, then recovered paper work for Police also need to kill battery before you extinguish and then secondary search including trunk afterwards

  • No its more like NYPD= NY's Finest.........FDNY= NY's Bravest

  • @kkhuytr69 you cant pay me enough to reach inside a burning car!

  • fdny is referred to as ny's bra

  • @McYankees23 lol only in ny. you gotta love this town.... i know i do!

  • @19pyrex20 I have all love for SF, but NYC just made 2nd place in my book!

  • @McYankees23 2nded!

  • Umm.. NY's FINEST are the Police Officers, NY's PIRATES are the firemen.

  • @foofooliberal Thx for clarifying --it was my 1st time in NYC

  • Man I bet whoever was in the back of that limo was pissed.

  • @rogziel Actually, nobody cared ---they just drove on by
