Steven Bochco is a visionary. His vision of putting a TV series cum musical was too advanced for the TV viewers back then. People of the 90s felt Cop Rock was a flop. But now everyone is happy over Glee. Well, before Glee happened, Cop Rock was doing all those musical numbers. For Cop Rock, I lift my hat off to Steven Bochco. And to mrdivot22, thank you very much for posting all the videos. I have been looking for these excerpts like forever.

@tihdac There's two main differences that I see between the shows. 1) Glee is aimed at teenagers and women, not your usual demographic for gritty crime dramas. 2) Glee also uses cover songs instead of originals.

@tihdac He was no "visionary." There were ideas like this before (The Singing Detective, Fame) but this one SUCKED. That's the difference. Not that I'm a huge fan of Glee, but this is so bad it's party material.

@tihdac I forgot all about this crappy show, I hate this show AND Glee. The only thing that brought me here was a reference to the show on Beavus & Butthead, lol. Not knocking your uploads one bit mrdivot22. I'm glad even crappy shows are uploaded.....its funny and uploads take a LOT of time....glad to see this if only for the laughs. Keep posting, I'm sure I'll find something I'll like......its not this though, lol.

I like how they cut to the cops and the witness and they're all looking annoyed. I'm sure it's supposed to be "What a bunch of whiners" but in my head I hear "Christ, why won't they stop singing???"
