  • hey are any of these balls for sale??? like used

  • one of the best balls ever made, just the best motion ever

  • bowled a 723 series over 3 games with this ball last week (: awsome ball was my first ball ever and still an awsome ball even though it has died lol

  • Pyscho is just awesome. I've had great series with it.

  • yeah i have had some great games but myne died really quickly and since it died ive found a even better ball =P

  • were u cleaning after every series. mine is strong a year and a half later. resurface it, it's a great ball. which are u using now thats better?

  • umm well i was whipeing it with a towel after every game and i got it resurfaced not to long ago and its a really good ball again but atm my favourite ball in my bag is Track, The rising, but im waiting upon my 3rd dimension to arrive so that might be my favourite ball soon but i still love the phsycho just as much have had great games with it and just the othernight did a 278 with it so yer its a really good i still love it even though the reaction isnt as good

  • yeah, all hammer balls need to be CLEANED after every series. Hammer recommends and i've found it to be great- Power House Energizer Ball Cleaner, it really sucks the oil out of the ball. Since i started using it my hammer balls never die out. Hit em hard

  • @ermarauder ....yer well at the time i was only a new person to bowling with reactive ball and i had no idea that i had to clean it so its pretty much my fault haha but i know now lol i bleed all my balls 2 times a month to keep them at there maximum hitting power and reaction but i dont use it much anymore cause i ened it redrilled the thumb is way to tight and itkeeps getting stuck.

  • I just love this ball. Its really even, has a great reaction, and it hits like a truck, like most hammers.

  • A friend of my has the Acid and another has the Psycho, they are almost the same ball, with the acid going a little farther before breaking to the pocket.

  • I'm deciding whether to get the Psycho or the Acid

I can't make up my mind

  • wait and c wht the new ones like before u make ur choice

  • @hamm3rhead300 acid

  • The virtual, hype? Uh no that ball is no where near hype. That ball will do what storm says.

  • The pain has been discontinued for a long time. Its the anger, psycho, and acid.

  • i own 3 "raw hammers" ,psycho, toxic, and doom thier are all very much the same

  • This is a great ball for medium oil. For heavy oil i recommend the Storm Virtual Gravity.

  • toxic follows through so much better on chameleon, but with the psycho you have to arch it so much...hard on PBA experience

  • Wow, you couldnt be more wrong. When you are on tougher sport shots, you want MORE control, or more midlane and arc, not a snappy angular backend.

  • the chameleon is 40 feet not 39

  • hmm, wad's this guy's rev rate? The Raw Hammer Psycho seems to be hooking quite a lot...

  • look at how the ball is drilled. the pin is under the fingers so therefore the ball will read the lane much earlier and hook sooner. revs only get you more hook. but the basic ball is drilled to hook alot. thats why people dont understand when you drill a low reactive ball like the tropical storms to hook alot. they hook more than any attitude shift, roto grip cell, or any other high performance ball. drilling the ball right is the key for a big or little hook.

  • just because the pin is under the fingers doesnt mean that the ball is going to read the lane much sooner and hook earlier. Too many people see the amount of boards a ball will cover on the backend as hook... Your example, a Tropical Storm is a pearlized ball so it will react harder off of friction opposed to an Attitude Shift or Cell which will grip the lane more with their solid coverstocks and will be smoother off of friction

  • Its not "where" the pin is relative to the fingers, its where the pin is relative to the bowlers PAP. And there is no way a tropical would out hook any cell or attitude because it has a very basic core, so the difference between a tropical drilled mild and a tropical drilled aggresive isnt that much.

  • Not true, you can have a Tropical hook more than a stronger ball... If you are bowling on dry lanes, the stronger ball (i.e. Cell or Attitude) will be DOA and rollout most of the time, where as the Tropical will be reacting strong off the friction

  • I just got one of these and i love it.

  • seems like the toxic has a bit more backend

  • The cores are different.

  • i didnt notice this. I am glad you told me because after watching people in my travel league bowl i might get one.

  • The Psycho is a good ball for medium oil. I have a friend who purchased a Psycho about a month ago, and he seems to like it. I have the Toxic and have been bowling with it for about eight months now and enjoy it. If you get a Pshycho, let me know how it works out for you.

  • i got that psycho!

    its amazing!!!!!!!

its smoother and more arcy than the toxic, but its hook is stronger, it handles carrydown well, and has the carry of jesus!

  • lol i liked the beginning..

  • Quite rolly for Hammer...me likes

  • nice looking reaction with the Psycho
