@iiHDMODDINGx totally wrong. over threading isnt even possible i dunno wtf u mean by that. i fixed this like 6 months ago, all i had to do was force the pedal out, get the insert off, screw the insert back in, then put a washer between the pedal and the crank
try spinning the insert until right before the point were it starts to strip. then apply locktight thread lock to all of the newly exposed threads. then tighten insert in the same direction that you tighten the pedal. let sit for a while, then try to loosen. this worked on my cheap demo cranks that were a similar design. i used the red locktight brand thread lock.
@JohnnyXsniper: yeah exactly haha how much is your bike worth all together?
Well I ordered it last Friday, well the Friday that past and still waiting on it. I tracked it on u.p.s. And it says it's suppose to arrive tomorrow or if not thursday but I really want it already so I can start riding again
@johnnyXsniper: yeah I understand dude, when I had my old bike like I would be constantly buying new parts for it and then a couple of days later something else would get messed up. Gets really tiring and I hope everything works out for you and your bike man. Keep riding and stay up.
Ps: I can't wait to get my rim b'cus it's a pretty loud hub(:
@LOT3K19 yeah exactly man, haha once u break the £1000 mark and shits still breaking, its kinda annoying, but il stick with it, about to buy some amity RD bars
get a one or two peice crank, the less bolts the less things to go wrong... find a scrap bike and take it off of that.. i dont know what all that BS is with a bolt on the back or some striped thing, you should be able to just tighten it normaly with no problems
i hope your not planning to spoke your own wheels, thats a disaster waiting to happen
@johnnyXsniper if u contact primo via their website and complain about them, they send you all this shit and tell you to send them your cranks and they send you new ones completely free, and a couple of my mates did it and got upgraded pedal inserts
@cgic666 dude i solved this problem with a washer like 3 months ago im gunna delete this video. primo wouldnt give me fuck all, unless u live in the usa their waranty sucks, doesnt help i bought these 2nd hand
@johnnyXsniper I don't think its worked though :( hasn't set properly yet lol you can't weld it either because its two different types of metal! Might have to save up for the Subrosa cranks after a new frame
Do you have the washer that goes on the back? Just put it on as tight as you can with a flat blade screw driver and hammer? I have Primo powerbites and the insert is lose but it doesnt spin! Lost the washer the screws on the back as well :(
looks like a striped crank box 10 dollers at the locel bike shop happend to mee
