  • at :20 she says they mimic. Well that s the same way people learn how to speak!!! I have a Amazon that knows what to say at the right time.

  • He sounds like that one nerdy dolphin guy off of My Gym Partner's a monkey

  • einstines better

  • haha "i can sing better than sanjaya on american idol!!"

  • WOW

  • I will pay £50 for that bird and i got CASH i'm a dealer if ya get me

  • we had an amazon green parrot for years and you could almost hold a coversation with it. Parrots are very intelligent and do know what they are saying. They definately have a sense of humour. Our parrot used to sing too. Lovely clip

  • so cute

  • my grandma gave me her red beaked green colored parrot today and I dont know what type it is - its driving me nuts looking at so many pics and yet not exactly the same as those...supposedly he use to talk...

  • @IranWantsDivorce

Hello iran I saw your comment on youtube in regards to your bird . well it sounds to me like you might have an indian Ring Neck look it up.and good luck.

  • I so want a parrot

  • im so getting a parrot now:D

  • @juist38 Please be SURE you can spend much time with your bird. They need constant attention. If you're at work, they can stay in their cage outside under shelter or whatever, but when you come home they must be allowed to stand on top of their cage or climb around it for a few hours. They need you to talk to them all the time, and you need to care for their diet properly, not just black sunflower seeds which gives them fatty liver disease and can cause feather plucking.

  • She's dumb, parrot have developed brains and understand what they are saying. Alex the parrot.

  • I think i read somewhere that Alex could even re-arrange words he'd learned to form short statements.

  • I was just going to comment with this, but I realized you already had. It frustrates me when parrots don't get the credit they deserve. Maybe some of them are mimickers, but they have the ability to understand what they're saying.

  • For those who this this bird's singing is fake - it ain't. You just have to visit a parrot club to find out the truth. We have a parrot in our local parrot club who sings opera and does a killer version of 'Take me out to the ball game'. Amazons are particularly talented in the singing department :)

  • cool bird :)

  • que loco ese loro

  • What the fuck! I put it in hq and it never worked I put it in nq and it worked

  • whoever thinks this isn't real obviusly hasn't seen an amazon parrot b4 seriously these birds are amazing

  • for real .. why would u think this is fake its disney world they pay people 2 train these birds its their job! go watch another video and replay 25 times to see if its fake nerds

  • I have a parrot and it seemed pretty real to me when I went. I think a lot of it is this video is very out of sink. However, if it is fake, I think teaching a bird to lipsync would take a lot more skill than teaching it how to sing : P

  • Like most musicians, he sings for peanuts!

  • I was there a couple months ago, this bird was off , the bird that came out said hello and answered every question with Four! My birds at home do more than that!

  • this is real so who ever is saying that it is fake please shut the fuck up adn suck a dick

  • wow it is off sync...but i seen how they so shows similer to this before. they pre recorded the parrot talking then play it over speakers just in case the bird doesnt cooperate or screws up. If there doing it here i cant tell. i still think it's faked though.

  • ...what does that have to do with anything.

look at 1 :25...THE MIC IS BY HER HIP!! and somehow the bird can talk loud enough WHILE EATING! Even when the mic is far away...with no volume channge? com'on sure it can impress kids...but anyone with 2 IQ points to rub together can tell this is fake. Or at least pre recorded.

  • Have you noticed how unsynced the video is, did that occur to you at all?

  • It is, even the lady talking is off o.O

  • Wrong! Look up Einstein the parrot. They live for a long time. Some up to 70 years, I heard.

  • A bird like this may never come along again. This is amazing! Just ask him what song he wants to sing means the bird is consciously choosing which song to sing. He is also putting his personality into each song.

  • he/she mixed up day and night... LOL she/he DOES sing better than sanjaya!

  • Awesome!

  • He is so clever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Thanks!

  • very

  • I went to animal kingdom just the other day on 10-18-08 and the parrot only said hello and four, four, four, and fore!

Must have been grouchos day off!

  • lol he must have

  • what was that second song he sang?

  • LOL I think it was Yankee Doodle.

  • OMG I love Groucho!!! ^__^

  • which disneyworld was this filmed in.i would like to know.i went to the one in florida at 13 yrs old and i have never been to the one in paris but where was this parrot singing from.

  • Its animal kingdom in Florida.I was just there last month!Very cool place.

  • yes very cool

  • this was filmed in flordia

  • Ha ha ha ha!!

  • wtf

  • that birs shound make a sound track lol.

  • I love this bird's voice. Groucho's voice is so cool! She's too cool! ^_^

  • that bird's gonna fly away any minute now

  • i saw this bird haha

  • funny bird ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha aha ha aha

  • its called mocking. but this is a very smart bird. you can tell it to sing a song you taught it. you can't do that with most people. haha.

  • People are crazy if you think this is fake! First off, you can find video of groucho on pet star and other shows doing the same performance. Second, I work with parrots and they have amazing singing (mimicry) ability. So study up on your parrot knowledge

  • i respect u but if ur gonna tell someone off then u should reply to them so they hear wut ur saying cuz half the ppl who comment bad things dont come back to the video

  • Cool...and ewrybody...its not fake...my bird do the same..

  • Yah.. this might be fake, she moved the mic away and the parrot still sound just as loud even while eating... =\

  • thats besause my video is laggin

  • aww... but... cool... =)

  • the song continues even when she moves away with the mic? :P

  • Fake, the Dude sings, not the parrot!

  • The video is lagging the audio. It's obvious from paying attention to when the woman and parrot start and stop talking/singing. This species of bird is extremely intelligent and can easily learn a song like this and cues from a speaker.

  • i.e. - this is real. It's nothing special from this type of bird.

  • Other than video lag, it was great.

  • There are two birds in this video I think the feathered one has the better I.Q

    Simon

  • i have a bird like that he dont talk like that lol

  • VID LAG!!!!!!!

  • I love how people that don't have parrots always think that it is a recording...LOL... seriously, they DO sound like a recording, but I promise you, they are really talking! Come to my house and listen to mine......

  • It's SO laggy!

  • i thought this was great

    loved it !!

  • THANK YOU

  • She's a liar. She's underestimating the parrot intelligence. Some respond appropriately in conversation.

  • i love how she removed the mic and he kept singing .. unless its video lag. *recorded*

  • ...The video *is* laggy.

  • now that i wtch it again i see how laggy it is haha.

  • ...uh-uh. it's not talking. I know pre-recorded sounds when I hear them.

  • Kl, but you could have kept the camera more still at the beginning.

  • xD ver good

  • hay thanks 4 the comment on my video---- tell me what u think about my other videos-- please --- thank you

  • maybe I will.... haha
