Smile, please. And I have a cat. You forgot to mention the trifecta of cleaning up after the kitty. My cat pees, poops and pukes. There was once she did all 3 within an hour... I cleaned up after her for about 15 years (yes, she's about 15 yrs old). Luckily, she acts cute enough to make up for it. :)
Also, the other person has to be willing to take care of a cat. Otherwise, you'd be foisting a responsibility on someone who doesn't want it, cute or not.
I couldn't agree with this more. My friend and I have this theory that unhappiness could be solved by having a basket of kittens you could just take with you everywhere.
If my brother back home wasn't allergic, and if at school I didn't live with someone else in a shoebox with the shoes still in it, believe me, there'd probably be at least one kitty in my life.
You're adorable. And I know you're just being silly. But I must point out some flaws in this. It should be ADOPT! NOT BUY! Buying cats is irresponsible and wasteful when there are thousands in shelters that need good homes. ALSO! Animals are NOT TOYS! They are not Christmas presents! The chaos of xmas is the WORST time to adopt a pet. Animals need calmness and structure when being introduced into a new home, not extended relatives and xmas parties. This was funny though! :-D
@EmBeeBe Oh definitely. I just found it hard to make "Adopt this little kitty" into a catchy annoying reminding message. And I do agree that pets are for life, not for Christmas. But glad you enjoyed it anyway. :)
