i dare you to not hold back so much on your intensity and your vocals, esp. bc you're covering an artist who let's the restraint go to transfer those emotions. pretend you cant get out of yourself, like wanting to play the guitar or paint right after your hands got cut off and the tape over your mouth has just been ripped off and there's someone in the room that has the ability to give them back. Just a suggestion. You have a beautiful voice.

I have a DigiDesign Mbox... It comes with Pro Tools software and it's really easy to use. It comes with a DVD explaining the basics. It was around $700 (Australian) from memory.
