  • FUCKING HELL SOMEONES BEEN ON THE GIN ! ......... WOAH HOW PUNK

  • i used to always think she said "scream in vein" not "screaming babied" D:

  • sad idiots, steve has become everything he hated... only innit for the money. what a sell out

  • shes good ....takes me back ..

  • She is horrid

  • I want a crass t-shirt give me a link you fuckers.:]

  • Listening to this with headphones fucking amazing., her voice is like a wall of Buzz ,,,,, Love it want more.

Amazing underated band CRASS no Class

  • Not everything related to Crass should be considered good + I don't understand why all punk revivalists should now sound like metal and wear consequent accessories. To me, this sucks.

  • carol hodge does such a much better job. i mean besides eve libertine.

  • she owns

  • what is this lady doing? auditioning for the punk version of american idol? this is one of Eve Libertines most powerful songs.. they should stick to the Steve Ignorant tracks...

  • odd, i seem to find that those who rant the most, are in fact ......

  • oi,?..twat.!...sellable,?..twat.!..mediatwatrecords.?..twat.!,..You can shove ya R n B right where you think the sun shines from,...your opinion is superfluous, as is, no doubt, you existence,....no go piss off and listen to radio 1,.

  • Thank you so much for posting this, seriously one of the best gigs of my life!

  • what is this womans name??

  • @crasschris1 Sadie Nine google that name and u will see her myspace page.

  • @JANER64 thank you.

  • @crasschris1 its either joy de vivre or more likely eve libertine they were the 2 female vocalists with crass

  • however crass is a performance art i do look forward to enjoying and its not that i really believe in them as anything but a concept. i simply enjoyed the aesthetic.

  • Chicken in a basket Crass! Fuckin awful!

  • See Steve Ignorant in No More Propaganda, 77 minute DVD.

  • who the fuck is that murdering eves vocals?

  • @wilson2810 Thats Steve, im sure

  • @noobishdumbberry i know thats steve/whos the woman?

  • @wilson2810 Eh... hell if i know

  • @wilson2810 Sadie long i think

  • ill be honest. this song made me laugh a bit because it has a real 30s or 40s r and b sound

  • @mediattackrecords plus the lyrics arent as threatening as you think

  • for all the stuff that Steve says about 'the system' and social indoctrination; a little bit died inside of me when I saw the Crass documentary with Steve off down the pub to watch the football and shout at the TV with the other social retards. The crass commune was bought for £150K by very rich mates of Penny Rimbaud who've never asked for the money back (his admission). True they did many good communal activities and put any money they has into art/music projects. they also signed-on.

  • @JonnySpeeding There is nothing wrong with fucking football, jeez some of u feminists/hippies give left wingers a bad name.....grow the fuck up

  • @JANER64 if football isn't the perfect example of 'The Spectacle' I don't know what is. Maybe read Guy Debord? Yes there is loads wrong with 'fucking football'. Its consumerism at its worse, wrapped up as a hobby for the working class for one. There is a strong contradiction between the themes that Crass sing about and then support for the football industry. suggesting some one 'grow the fuck up' is better replaced by critical thought on Crass politics vs. Football.

  • @JonnySpeeding

I'm sorry to say that I'm working class or should that be jobless class, I googled this Guy Deboard and after glancing thru his Wiki he has much to do with me as Tory toffs who go hunting.

I grew up with football, I love my club, I grew up with Punk Rock, I love my Punk, I listened to Crass because I loveed their music, then I checked their lyrics, I could identify with some and not others.

I am pro life, should I stop liking Crass' music now?

  • @JANER64 frankly i don't give a toss about your politics. Crass is anti-wing anarchism that has very strong views on the system, indoctrination and the way that the dispossessed are make that way by the media, capitalism and government. Football is part of this establishment and a business run purely for profit, at the exploitation of its consumers. Guy Deboard is strong influence on post-1968 politics and the ideas Crass discuss. Actually, Crass is very anti the illusion you've bought into.

  • @JonnySpeeding Johnny you really are up ur own arse, I've re-read what u've said and checked out ur "hero" some more, my final conclusion?

You're a Middle class intellectual who has tried to hijack Punk Rock which is working class, now gtfo. I despise people like you, reminds me of Monty Python Life's of Brian where they look at the single idealist and shout over "splitter"

  • @JANER64 and my conclusion is that you've had 47 years to educate yourself and you've chosen not to. You can insult me all you like, Debord is not my hero. I have however read his books. He is was a pivot french philosopher who influenced many of those punk ideals you hold so dear. I recommend a library and maybe if you didn't think educating yourself would make you middle-class you'd be less of a wanker.

  • @JonnySpeeding We're all wankers.....you stick to ur books and beliefs, I'll stick to Punk Rock music.

  • @JANER64 enjoy listening to the music and not hearing or understanding any of the words. well done.

  • @JonnySpeeding You could say Tough shit Janer, then again I'm a non meat eater years.

  • @JonnySpeeding

youre no race snot and really who cares what direction we go in were in it for the money

  • @JonnySpeeding

warhol debord same stuff feel free to build the global republic get on with it and quit seperating us then and by the way crass are mostly an act for non profit cash

    not the real deal

whats new about the racially prejudiced gob the govt vigilante interns make us swallow when we change our priorities to accept them all a bit? and if someone threatens us for doing so they blame us for fighting back

  • @mediattackrecords crass thought they were peoples music but what they ended up being was a change over at andy warhols Interview magazine and a dream for every punk to have a R and B or Rock 'n' Roll Pop band

  • Comment removed

  • @mediattackrecords you really think the creation of pop art and denouncing The Spectical were saying the same thing? ok.

  • @JonnySpeeding YES I DO. it was the wars and rebellions that overall created the populist culture as much as the neo punk generation is now brainwashed to hate it

  • @mediattackrecords im really not punk to fit in with anyone but myself I HATED all the STEREOTYPES and segregation the counter culture produced im only in PUNK to make the MUSIC i want to hear and my attitude about it is ACCURATE I DONT NEED THE SCENE OR ANYONE TO BE SOMEBODY and im glad that IT WORKED overall and people are p*ssed that IM NOT GOING TO BE THEIR FOLLOWER or listen to the opinions of the PUNK STATUS QUO

  • @mediattackrecords which i overall think is ARTIFICIAL and created by the system to hate and abuse individuals and outsiders ILL NEVER BE PUNK TO FIT IN WITH ANYONE BUT ME and thats a f*cking promise you can stuff your punk values your punk religion means nothing to ME its another religion another way of being a popular LEADER of sheep

  • Comment removed

  • @JonnySpeeding the punks of today are self deprecative and hate themselves because theyre nothing but another populist culture and a hippocricy crass werent denouncing pop art they werent really denouncing much except being NOBODIES

  • @mediattackrecords i want to be a noone im not really into contemporary populism

  • @mediattackrecords but they had a positive message that was a bit tongue in cheek mixed with practical spoof and pop art revolutionary romanticism thats all in all honesty and overall it proved to be a professional art and music aesthetic ultimately

  • This is an an absolute joke. I guess every clown needs a paycheck. [Steve Ignorant] started doing real harm... I love Crass, the best band ever. Let it go, it lives on by itself.

  • It's my favourite track, and here... Ooooh greeeeaaaaattttt !!!!!!!

  • not eve's high pitched screams but i like the courseness of her voice. sounds like me if i sung it after 12 pots and half a pack of drum.

  • elle a mal a sa kikinne ?

  • yeah shaved women, kick ass

  • awful

  • Damn, I never thought to hear Crass songs being performed by members of Crass in the 21st century.

  • Worst version of this song ever. You can't ever replace Eve. It's HER song.

  • Good luck to Steve. It seems that the other members of Crass are still stuck up their own arses. He deserves to be able to earn a bob or two out of the Crass bandwagon. He was the best performer and the only working class member of the band.Fuck off Penny you hippy!!

  • Is She The Person From Naked Agression?

  • never got to see them live, but massively looking forward to seeing them later this year. ok not original line up but if it's as powerful as this will be fucking awesome

  • this is really powerful

  • Awesome drumming!!!

  • she done my fucking nut in that night

  • saw crass 81,or 82 lpool blu coat best gig ever.woz 12 or 13 still stays with me!

  • I'd like fuck a skin head girl

  • What a disappointment to find that this wasn't Eve Libertine performing when I clicked on it.

Sorry Steve but you cant replace her.

  • Sadie nine did a fucking excellent job, not Eve but still.

  • XpunkXanarchistX ...My thoughts exactly ...is that Eve Libertine??? I hope so ;)

  • they are really into thier shit.. thats prettycool for people there age

  • czemu mnie tam nie było .

  • this just isn't good. sorry.

  • OMG

  • huahua,old punks are funny

  • hehe

  • The first video on the related videos list is "How To Shave Your Legs" LOL funny stuff.....

  • Bloxbook,thanks for the info.This is a very powerful song.She's got a great voice.

  • Who is this woman? Is it Eve Libertine? Or one of the gals from the Poison Girls?

  • Sadie Nine standing in for Eve, a real moment of insperation, brilliant.

  • it's was never about their music abilty, it was and is the message that was important.

  • I had a batch of Crass casettes back int he early '90's, and I used to blast "Shaved Woman" and anything by Crass while flying down 8 Mile to work around 5:30 a.m.---I loved this song and the singer's wild-ass shrieks! Hell yeah! This is the real deal activist punk rock shit here!

  • She's fuckin' scary! HAHA

  • Nein. Sie hat es nur verstanden.

  • I love crass, but this is just f'king laughable

  • what the fuck man please?

    punk is dead?

reality check mate, punk is NOT dead, and will never die out!

garn fuck some jobless lowlife chav you prick!

  • i think this woman did a very good job!

  • 30 years on and people are still arguing about 'whats real Punk, and who's sold out', The bickering, never ends, maybe punk isn't dead. Na, of course it fuckin is.

  • Eve Is Better

  • Eve is better at what exactly

  • Better singer

  • I think I agree...

  • what the hell have the sex pistols got do wiv owt. This song and performance would blow them away.Dont compare art quality wiv shite.

  • Pistols were a contrived boy band who sold out on every level! Crass were pure punk for the the punks who had a brain!

Ok so they did a gig in 2007 with a few lights & stuff... big deal, I enjoyed it.. Love you guys & you never sold out!

  • in all ure decadence people die just saying so u know

  • Comment removed

  • respect to steve for doing this! he lived the life, he worked hard for CRASS, he earned the right to the perform songs he helped write all those years ago! penny would rather be sitting naked in his farm house discussing the merits of diy compost toilets and CRASS' legacy with a bunch of middle class crusty drop outs! gee, well she's been accepted into the art establishment! no one's sold out, they've all accepted who and what they are!

  • kick ass performance, especially considering the female vocalist is a non-punker. intense.

  • If you dont like crass then wtf are you watching this for you could argue weather or not crass sold out BUT i think the pistols probably got one up on em there in my book the first chapter about sell outs starts with jonny lydon

  • nobody cares

  • YuDongWang, you've missed the whole fucking point, this isn't crass it's one sell out flouting the name of crass. If steve wants to do this do it under his name not crass. Simple.

  • it wasnt sold as a crass gig it was sold as a live perfomance of the feeding of the 5 thousand by steve ig it was fuking awsome bet u wernt there m8

  • Hello mate, long time no speak. I wasn't there out of choice, if I'd wanted to be there I'd have gone to Ticketmaster* and got one. Also the posters for it had a fuking great Crass logo on the back of them.

    * Also available from other mainstream outlets.

  • lol hi m8 u good lol yea but written was a night of love it just ses on the poster a full band performance wich yea i igree is misleading but i aint seen crass ritten eny ware i enjoyed it as mutch as wen i saw them in the erly 80 s getying fuking old now wat do i know m8 stay safe dave hat

  • I like em...just saying that

  • Crass didn't open minds, they closed them. They moaned, bitched, complained and hated everything without offering any solutions, alternatives, answers for anyone. They made youth despondent and pessimistic, they played into Thatcher's hands by making the weak weaker.

  • What are you some fucking drudge just does as you're told without question? You don't need any answers because you have no questions. You are an idiot. Where are the Crasses of today? Nowhere to be found because every performer/band just wants to fill their own fucking pockets. Nobody cares anymore, fuck it. And Zarthux, Crass didn't sell out, Ignorant did. He might as well cavort through English fields with English cows promoting English butter, for fucks sake.

  • you haven't addressed a single point i made.

  • ill answer then. they did not hate everything. they love peace, freedom, equality. there is a fine line between hating love and hating hate, and crass were lovers as much as haters. they offered alternatives on everything from single issues to the system as a whole, anarchism. resource based libertarian socialism..... yummy. they made the youth strong. the youth saw/sees through the government. but there was no solution. left wing right wing. crass were the anti-wing. they made people think

  • haha, i was there dude. i don't think you were.

  • He cannot sing this on his own!

    Madness.

  • the "anti-wing". now THAT is catchy.

  • @AtheistAnarchoRudi right maybe crass but crass is mostly you not them. arent we all just actors?

  • like shaved women not fat women,is that the point

  • @triptease No. In Germany the women in relationships with Nazi's had ot have their heads shaved or something along the lines of that. " shaved women, collaborators"

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • @AtheistAnarchoRudi The youth actually don't really get marketing and advertising of New Wave too well.

  • @mediattackrecords I think Oi! is a bit more sellable though because it's still R and B.

  • there is a hole anti system movement biult from the lryics of crass whoes your leader the symbolisn= art is still all over the place im a anarchist i listen 2 crass cos they are musicaly awsome

  • mighty let me guess you re a pistols fan? why dont you go get yourself some sandwich sped from jonny lydon and take turns fucking each other with it

  • I don't understand all this about a sellout. Crass was there opening minds before anyone else and it is nothing short of a blessing that the remaining members are still with us spreading the word. The performance was remarkable. All of you whining about "selling out", what have you done to open as many minds as Steve and Crass have?

  • A Crass fan adapting censorship? Now there's irony.

  • sell out gig/ this was never what crass were about steve obviously thought fuck it about time i made some money out of this fame/ fare play to him in some respects

  • yea i understyand where youre coming from lol

  • saw them at marsh farm estate near luton and northampton 79 when crass were good

  • I am so jelouse, i would have loved to have seen this gig , Crass! what fucking great band , loved em in 82 and now , well... wow.

  • WHAT THE HELL i would do anything to have been there.. man.

  • This chick kicks ass.

  • saw crass in stoke in 82 with Dirt and annie aniexty,

  • fucking lucky man that sounds bitchin

  • best night and gig ever i swear it was amazing the sound the anger the love best gig thats all i can say

  • Is that Divine?

  • LOL, that comment just made my day.

  • is that eve?

  • dsfd

  • how you doing janer ? hope youre ok.

  • wow, they sound awesome! i wish i could of been there!!!

  • Still great!!

  • who`s the singer?

  • Gee Vaucher, Im pretty sure.

  • I love the laser light show that goes with the performance. This is so sad.

  • sounds good.

  • Wow, this was really powerful...Crass was one of my favorite bands years ago when I was a squatter on the lower east side. I'd forgotten what Eve looked like...I thought it was her until I read the comments. I recently did some jail time and almost died during a toxic detox, (in all my decadence, I almost died). Thought I'd never hear Crass again. It was nice to. Someone tell me when and where this is from?

  • Hope you've got over the worst, this is from October 2007 a Feeding of the 5000 show by Steve Igs and special guests.

  • Thanks for the reply. I'm doing alright; got sentenced to 12 to 18 months outpatient drug treatment while living in a halfway house situation with (mostly white) little hiphop gangsters. Kind of sucks. I checked out your channel, enjoyed the Vice Squad, Buzzcocks, and Subhumans (U.K.) Anarchy, peace, and freedom I guess. Keep the faith.

  • ...tired of staring up a superstars arse I've got an arse and crap and a name I'm just waiting for my fifteen minutes fame...

    Sell out fraud.

  • amazing-still the greatest

  • technically crass is still broken up thats why none of the members were there. but I dont think anyone can sing this song as good as eve could have.

  • please crass, do it again.

  • i saw crass a dozen times, sounds like her ,but thats noy her surely ,god im old

  • You're not old, you just lived the good and fun years while we're stuck here with emos and gangstas. :)

  • shut up

we have the world in our hands but we would rather complain on the internet about emo.

  • Why isn't Eve singing??? :S

  • UTTERLY FUCKIN FANTASTIC,

  • Thanks!

  • they were the best punk band ever, what an engine !

  • Wow! I cannot believe the amount of vitriol from one youtube posting? I couldn't give a fuck if it was Bonnie Langford fronting the band, with Christopher fucking Biggins on bass etc.... I never saw crass live, they fed my brain tho. My brain says well done all involved! Anarchy can be fun and retro??

Smile you miserable cunts and appreciate....

THERE IS NO AUTHORITY BUT YOURSELF!

  • It's the same on all the "Crass" vids I upped from that weekend, it's also the same on the various Discharge vids I've came across, saying Dischrage are shite/great with Rat etc etc lol

  • 'Screaming couch potatoes' more like...

  • Actually Steve Ignorant was influenced by "The Clash", He admits it in "The Punk years" A riot on my own.

  • it is in all your decadence people die pussy
