Curious but have u seen either version of I Spit On Your Grave? It's not ment to be funny or create awareness. These films r ment to shock, disgust & create feelings of extreme unease. Rape/Revenge has been a sub-genre of horror since at least the early 70s (Wes Craven directed The Last House On The Left which is just as bad as I Spit On Your Grave). Censorship is never a viable answer.

I've only seen 2 movies more than once in the theaters. Inception, and X-Men First Class. I thought it was better than The Dark Knight, and even hardcore fans of TDK couldn't debate against me. One amazing performance cannot save a movie in my opinion. If Heath Ledger wasn't in it, it would have been another batman begins. Also doesn't help that Ledger died. It was an amazing performance, probably one of the best of all time. But his death, did give it leverage for a lot of reviewers.
