  • how much mouse does it eat for a day?

  • @tyalortr it would only eat once every couple weeks. snakes can go a while without eating.

  • wow i've never seen a poisonous snake tag its prey and hold on! do all vipers do that?

  • @shazdiddy not sure bud. this is a tree viper, and i believe all tree snakes, poisonous or not, tag and hold on.

  • @shazdiddy snakes arent poisonous....

  • @manicman108 i hope this humor

  • @arashd snakes are not poisonous only venomous :)

  • @manicman108 he is being a smart ass....technically they aren't poisonous, they are venomous

  • @shazdiddy not sure if all vipers do, but i believe all "tree" snakes in general, poisonous or not, do hang on

  • @shazdiddy there is no such thing as a poisonous snake. there are however, venomous :]

  • beaultiful viper

  • actually no snake is poison is ingested but venom which some snakes are in injected through fangs and sting etc.

  • I jumped when the snake grabbed the mouse i had this video on full screen.

I dont understand are vipers poisonous or they just have fangs without poison?

    Awesome video thanks for sharing.

  • @AlvaroAndfriends hahahah, quick wasnt he. they ARE poisonous.

  • will u get him a female?

  • ILL SONG, ILL VIPER, ILL VIDEO

  • thank you.

  • great movie in the back ground

  • american people does have no feelings for animals! i hate americans even donald trump!

  • europe has exotic pet stores, i suspect venomous animals are more heavily regulated but america is definatly not the only place the exotic pet trade exists

  • What does being American have to do with ANYTHING, you bigot? Watch a video with "Piton" in the title and see that South Americans and Mexicans are no different from US citizens, Asians, Germans, Turks, African Americans, Canadians, and even those who are too embarrassed of being from a Third World country to put this information in their profiles. What's different about Americans, Germans, and several others, is that as children our teachers and parents slap us silly if we are being bigots.

  • @cliffwalkinfool yuck!..did u hear that? the amrcan guy was laughing while the poor rat was eating by the viper!poor american!imbecile people

  • hmm, idk why people domesticate snakes. i mean, they're amazing and beautiful, yes. but certain ones are frightening to the fact personally, i couldnt sleep at night. but because i feel that way about certain snakes, i wouldnt be able to keep any snakes. respect for them i guess

  • Beautiful snake! This must be the longest viper kill in all of YouTube! Oh, I hope those guys in the other room were able to settle their differences. I found their petty bickering to be quite the distraction.

  • wow what a beautiful snake =)), what race is it??? is posions snake???

  • it is a sri lankan palm viper and it is poisonous.

  • wow what a beautiful snake

    poor mouse :)

  • how did you get this?

  • had a friend that was big into reptiles.

  • this type of Viper has no venom?I dont know crap about snakes, just Diamond Back Rattlesnakes. We have them here in New Mexico.Anyways, that was a bad ass Viper. I love snakes, but i would be a puss and not be able to throw the mouse in.hahaha I guess that is why i dont have them.Because they would starve. Maybe after i get over throwing in the first mouse, i would be able to after that. Good video

  • Daam! The mouse is (was) really tuff ! Strangling the Mouse would go faster!

  • Nice snake, but that is the worst music ever written.

  • Nice T. trigonocephalus, looks a bit similar to Atheris nitschei.

  • dam it has a great strike too very fast

  • thank you for your comments.

  • like the viper adds well to any beautiful snake collection

  • your cruel savana bicht i hope the snake bite you next time I would you like us to feed you to it, mistake one cage open to longue someone life could be in danger if your snake excape, mistake two frozen mouse or rat.

  • Learn to speak english before you post you moron .. and it's not cruel .. one animal has to die for another to live.

  • Thank you Connor. Well put.

  • It's OK, Your snake puts my cornsnake to shame LOL .. I love reptiles :D

  • If i buy frozen mice, it is more cruel. They just throw a bunch of mice in a freezer and they slowly die. When i feed them to the snake, they die much quicker. sorry that you feel this way, but i love reptiles and other bad ass predators.

  • u know your an ass hole for callin us snake handlers cruel we arent cruel, think about all u people complain of mice and rats and other rodents but when our reptiles are hungry and we feed them these rodents u piss and moan like pussies all u people who hat snakes make me sick why hate a reptile when they have been here longer than man so no sir u r the cruel and sick sunnva bitch for not respectin our work go watch croc hunter and learnin something

  • Beautiful snake

  • you guys need to chill the fuck out

  • what kind of cage is that? I like it.

  • thanks for all the comments...i never thought i wold get any...i just put it on to show my friends...it is a sri lankan palm viper...it is a tree viper...BHOLT08, thanks for ur concern...it is a quick striking snake, but tree snakes are pretty calm...i try to be cautious and use a snake stick every time and never even think of holding it bare handed..thank you all so much...arash

  • sad dickhead!!!

  • My personal opinion, you as a cameraman might be they perfect setting for a very dangerous accident. Just my opinion. From what I know about Vipers, they're extremely quick, VENOMOUS, and if aggitated will show no mercy. Hopefully that camera was on a tripod(to keep you as far away as possible), because if your camera was that close in your hands...Accident waiting to happen. Plus, that live mouse tearing at the snakes face...beautiful specimen, foolish decision on feeding. Nice snake.

  • Cool video. I liked that clip at the 3:30 where the viper strikes the mouse at that instant. Man I would not want to be that mouse and I would never thought of seeing the struggles of the mouse go to that extent. Wow!

  • What snake is that?

    Some kind of pit viper?

  • That's a beautiful snake, love the markings! I too wondered how that mouse survived so long...the snake must not have injected a lot of venom so it took longer to have an effect.

  • Wow! What a strike. Poor mouse. Now to feed that snake to the Mongoose I have in my backyard.

  • You're Just being Fucking Stupid.. pet mongoose?

  • poor thing

  • shoulda played GZA's I Gotcha Back(but ya best to watch ya front) lol
