I can't stand nor trust biased and one-sided people from my own ethnic and religious background as much as I can't stand nor trust prejudicial people from other cultures and religions that criticize our Indian religion and culture. - Lord Krishna says so in Bhagavat Gita asking all hindus to love one and all

Hence Hindus see all Religions as equal and they do not differentiate or seek to insult any religion. All people worship God in their own ways and one should not mind another's business about what God he believes in. This is what a real Hindu believes.

The two religions preach hostility towards all those who are different. The climate of the middle east is conducive to such thinking. I agree that not all religions are the same or equal. Some religions teach their followers to kill and their very "holy" books actually advocate violence. Other religions teach peace and love. So certainly not all religions are the same. Only a religion that teaches peace and love and repudiates violence is one worthy of further exploration. If a religion can't pass that simple test then it is false.

I must also note that the Christianity that Christ taught is much different than what most professed Christians believe and practice. Any Christian who uses violence or kills is not a Christian. Like Buddha, Christ taught his followers not to kill and love their enemies. He never taught his followers to be aggressive or kill. Muhammad taught his followers to kill. I agree that not all religions are the same. It would be nice if it was true but sad to say it's not.

Agreed. I do think though, that Buddha was not trying to be antagonistic to Hinduism. He wasn't trying to start a new religion, as he was Hindu himself. He was only trying to remove the misuse and abuse. He was much more for the spirit of the Vedas (i.e., living the teaching in daily life and mind), rather than the law.
