But the same artist did the old hockey tonight as with the Chance May Never Come Again. And for those interested the new HNIC theme is now called Canadian Gold. Personally I liked all the old music themes better.

@BlackSpider1818 Indeed. Very tough. Almost as much as it was seeing the Flyers hoist the Cup around The Aud when I was liitle. At least then the outcome wasn't made prematurely "Official" like when in '99 the league commissioner ordering the Cup brought to Center Ice for presentation to the winning team before the final decision was made over the questionable goal & then the Commissioner saying, "Oops! I'm sorry but it's too late now because the Stanley Cup has now been awarded to the Stars."

Dallas was the best team in the West and ok pretty lucky in the finals but i must say i followed the whole series and dallas was a worthy champion

I'm a diehard Sabres fan, but to this day, I am less upset about the Hull goal in the crease than I am about Buffalo's lack of offense.

1 goal in nearly 2 full games- how come nobody talks about Buffalo's inability to do something BEFORE the winning goal?

@SeaToby11 the better team doesnt always win the cup tho, the 2009 red wings were way better than the 09 penguins, and they lost. aside from the fact crosby dove every chance he got to draw a penatly, the better team doesnt always win.

read the rulebook? the rule was "changed" halfway through the season, but never actually put in the rulebook. furthermore, the newest version of the crease rule was never enforced. it was black and white. you in the crease, puck isnt, no goal. thats how the rule was enforced all season despite the altered rule.
