Eddie really aint my cup of tea,the tracks he plays are quality,but i wuldnt call it a propa set mix, my view on a propa set mix is to properly beat match both tracks then bring it in and allow the crowd to hear both tracks,plus cdj's give u the bpm read dnt they? so it makes it easier to beat match, get back to the vinyls and do it properly im a dj,but i dnt play in clubs coz noone lets u use vinyls,

I think it depends a lot on taste.... I can't say that seamlessly beat-matching vs cutting and looping takes different amounts of talent. It's just different styles; but you need to be good at what you do in order to be successful at either. Obviously mixing tracks without anyone noticing isn't Eddie's aim!

@DjMK87 i dnt believe that the aim is to mix without ppl noticin the beat drop, but instead to put your own spin on things and blow the crowd away. this is what eddie does every time..with his edgy mixing, beat droppin' and crazy energy...he's unreal imo. so is tiesto, but they both hav different styles, and both play different genres too. sayin that...i don't like tiesto's recent 'commercial' stuff. they are both excellent, otherwise they wudnt be where they are today...

Specially now with the CDJ's, i don't really care about seamless mixing, it's too easy....so playing a little is what i prefere. But, i hail from the Tom Harding HQ period, and i love the cutting etc :)

How has this mans num of bookings gone down. He has ben flat ou and so busy this last while. Sure all his bookings have a 2year waiting list. He's on fire some shockin . This year is def gonna be one for Eddie. The man rocks!!!!!!!!!! No Contest. :)

Well let's see: In the 3 month period of Feb, March & April 2009 he only has/had 5 bookings. He has only been booked for 1 UK festival for the whole year. Maybe your one of the few morons who believe that a person who plays out less than once a week and does absolutely no studio or production work actually needs to take a 2 month break lol. I guess you also believe it was his choice to leave radio one. He's also dropped again to 183on the world's largest and most accurate dj poll 'The Dj List'
