I have uploaded netflix apk version 1.2.2 about month ago and it was working great until yesterday every video I try watching tells me its unavailable even though i have watched it previously on my phone. Has anyone been having this problem?
@CaillouDash battery life depends on the person using. for my self using I felt I got more from the Slider. both phones also have extended batteries that can get you a couple days but both extended batteries add thickness
@lilcrazyaznboy depending on background apps, prob about little over couple hours or more. battery wouldn't be the worry if you are using 3g on video streaming. data throttle starts in march after 2.5GB. there is a 3600 battery on ebay for this phone around $15 that will get you a lot more usage.

@MsChava310 no. don't let the store do anything. just take the phone home and swap on a computer or turn on new phone and hit activation and choose already have a number. if you call in and have customer service swap phones they charge you service fee. unless you attempted on your own first and error showed to call in. then let em know of error and they wave the fee.

@LaylasMommy2012 5 phone comparison I showed how quick a lock the GPS was. The navigation works same as other google navigation and if you don't like it the is other apps such as mapquest. google voice by it's self will use your minutes. there is work around for that for now
@Prence don't think the specs are enough. but for the triumph they already have a booting custom rom of ice cream sandwich. Booting. still bugs to work out.
@Prence unless you want a better camera I honestly did not find enough of a difference as an upgrade. if the usable memory was more maybe but it bumps it down. could play angry birds a little better but somethigs Op v did better. if you want android 2.3.7. there are a ton of custom roms for that.

@DnAproductions1527 just posted new link that disable update check on app and allows version 1.2.2 to be used and helps with issues till netflix fixes and the optimus v works fine. I think it is android 2.3.4 issue
I figured out the battery life problem. The phone's cpu is set to performance originaly which uses a lot of battery life. To fix this you need to root it and get SetCPU and set it to ondemand.
@112577martin I did in the five phone comparison think was part 2. talk about internet 3g speed and benchmarks. Talking about one phone fastness is like revving your engine with nobody around. I speed tested them together. Slider was great

@bamitsbob21 you are going to have to try different apps then just one. and you can go into a test mode but make sure the screen is locked while testing or no notification light will show. have you tried light flow? all the colors in app will not be available but can control fast or slow blink.

@hakime666 2.5 is smaller then 3.5. the jack is 3.5 if your headphones slide out cause the headphone are 2.5 then you need an adapter or different headphones. only other beyond talk phone VM has that is a 2.5 jack is the rumor2
@FC559 are they the right video format? mp4 works and 3gp. If unsure you can use a free video converter handbrake. and select ipod preset and make sure the file name is ending in mp4 not mk4.... As for just locating. open up the gallery.
@mj580353 depends on you signal. youtube fine.. netflix not so good buffers and that eats a lot of data. it might be unlimited but you can still get disabled if you are doing incredible amounts of data. if you choose to do video stream over 3G then get a data monitor. NOW incase you didn't read UPDATE under video and NOTES over video. NETFLIX disable use of older versions on netflix. So netflix will not work on Slider until they Fix it. 3G or WIFI

@gjkiii well don't that just flipping suck. netflix won't fix the app and they block all versions of the app from accessing unless you you have version 1.5.2 installed. Have you tried the latest? 1.5.1 is the one I tested on this phone. please get back to me on use of version 1.5.2 and how it works for you and leave feedback for others please.
@mstechify I did try 1.5.2 and the audio is out of sync. Here is the weird part. 1.5.2 plays fine on the Optimus V but not on the Optimus slider (which has a faster processor). I cannot figure that one out. I did some research in an android forum and someone else said the same thing about the slider and the V. If you have any suggestions please let me know.
@gjkiii yes in the five phone compare I showed that with netflix working OpV and not Slider or WildfireS. as far as I can tell it is something to do with the android version. Since Slider vanilla plain. and WildfireS HTC sense it has to be android version. Netflix plays way worse on the WIldfireS. There are other phones complaining out of sync. but of you install tv.com you can stream whole shows off the wifi just fine.

@456jihoon watch the amount of apps you install that run in background. don't use livewallpaper. some say task killers help some say it makes it worse. Shut of WIFI GPS and bluetooth when not in use. Shut off use of wireless location when not in use (manually). shut off background data if you can. If you are having issues. first thing I suggest if you have never reset the phone is to back up and do a hard reset (see video for that).

I am uploading a short video showing phones and some upper levels as in smugglers den second screen of level 15 and unlocked of carnival upheaval. should be done uploading in less then 2 hours. HD takes a while. only adding this cause a lot of questions about angry birds and re answering the questions. watch for it. hope it helps.
LMAO in order to use Gingerbreak you must have it on debug mode and then have it plugged into the the computer by using a data cable and plugging it into the usb port if you don't have the driver's for the phone download them before hand plug it in your pc it will install then run gingerbreak and it will root the phone it uses a debug exploit also do not use the microsd when it ask after you plug it into the computer.
Just to clarify, there is not a root currently out for this phone? I've searched around but have not seen any posts on how to enable the hotspot feature. Can you confirm this?

How is its touchscreen? I currently have the LG Rumor Touch and the screen sucks. It's really unresponsive and the calibration is WAY off. Is this one any better? You seemed to use it with much ease.
Respond to this video... touch screen responsive and believe it is fiberglass like the optimus v. will feel much nicer the rumor touch. with rumor touch you feel like the screen is gonna break over time as you push harder.

@endlessitaly21 I already did look through list of videos for 5 phone comparison. but slider wins hands down big time. The slider has dedicated graphics .. Intercept doesn't budget single chip. The Intercept has half the RAM, bad.

@456jihoon watch the amount of apps you install that run in background. don't use livewallpaper. some say task killers help some say it makes it worse. Shut of WIFI GPS and bluetooth when not in use. Shut off use of wireless location when not in use (manually). shut off background data if you can. If you are having issues. first thing I suggest if you have never reset the phone is to back up and do a hard reset (see video for that).

@Lmontoya93 LOL. that happened when a friend brought little kid for visit an they tapped the toggle switch to the exposure on my camera. It is red. Content of the phone is correct. didn't want to re-record . not all parts of the video are that way.

@ddavebradd go to web site put in card and add promo code you will see price go down when you apply. last promo code that was this great they made available for new customers. so you will have to be aware it might not work. Sales reps are clueless to promo. I don't know if it will work for you to by the phone on new account or purchase under somebody else and not add money then when get phone deactivate the new account and swap. just idea you'll have to figure out how to get that awesome price.

@gnjn004fam it has more room then the wildfire S see video uploaded of "can't decide" to memory. and it does play angry birds. I am uploading a short video showing phones and some upper levels as in smugglers den second screen of level 15 and unlocked of carnival upheaval. should be done uploading in less then 2 hours. HD takes a while. only adding this cause a lot of questions about angry birds and re answering the questions. watch for it. hope it helps.

LMAO in order to use Gingerbreak you must have it on debug mode and then have it plugged into the the computer by using a data cable and plugging it into the usb port if you don't have the driver's for the phone download them before hand plug it in your pc it will install then run gingerbreak and it will root the phone it uses a debug exploit also do not use the microsd when it ask after you plug it into the computer.

How is its touchscreen? I currently have the LG Rumor Touch and the screen sucks. It's really unresponsive and the calibration is WAY off. Is this one any better? You seemed to use it with much ease.

Respond to this video... touch screen responsive and believe it is fiberglass like the optimus v. will feel much nicer the rumor touch. with rumor touch you feel like the screen is gonna break over time as you push harder.
