The .454 Casull kicks both the .480 Ruger's ass and the pussy Desert Eagle .50AE. It generates a lot more energy and veloctiy than both. That's what really counts, not necessarily the size of the cartridge.
I like the Linebaugh .500 It's got a little more power & velocity to it than all of them. Only thing is: You usually can't find one for less than $1500 and in some states takes a special level 3 weapons or Fed liscence to own one. I bought a Desert Eagle .50AE for $850 last month it was practically brand new. Made in Israel.

At roughly 13 pounds, the 'cowboy style' Pfeifer-Zeliska .600ne with the 900 grain bullet, that has nitro glycerin and gunpowder, at about 40$ a piece, you must own it with a permit. The gun is about $16,000. P.S-I don't play video games.

Ummmm,not always.If its a thin crap target,yes it will.But if its a decent steel target like Bisalloy( like the ones used in CAS shoots ) lead splatter goes everywhere.Even if it's passing through a thin plate,it will shed its jacket.You only have one pair of eyes,and considering he had a pair of safety glasses sitting on his head....

.50 was only released in competition i think. i dont believe it has more power/velocity than the 454..it deffiently doesnt have more stoping power.
