im going to make this right now but I dont have mozzarella cheese and my bread crumbs expired in 2007. So i think im gonna sub out the mozz for provologne and use the bread crumbs anyway. I mean aren't bread crumbs just like expired bread anyway?
@glockLOVE45 Yes, breadcrumbs are basically DRIED out bread, stale, not necessarily. Not unless you make them from stale bread yourself which is possible. Croutons can be made from day old or older bread that gets stale and hard but the bread crumbs you buy in the store are not made from stale bread. So to answer your question, always use fresh ingredients:) Bake off some fresh slices of bread and make your own crumbs or purchase yourself a new container of breadcrumbs.
Yeah sure, but it's a texture thing and whole tomatoes will definitely add a different texture to the dish making it more "chunky". You can slice the whole tomatoes and make your sauce that way. This sauce is a very rudimentary sauce to use for any pasta or Chicken Parm. I have many sauces more complex than this one that I have used in the past. Thanks for the question VKK
Having a rough or textured appearance. Coarse. Big portions, not refined or pretty so to speak. It's a more laid back preparation. Less refined cuts and portions.
