three in the one unity , Three-Unity, Trinity, what is wrong with this word ? A man is a worker on the job, a husband at home, a father to his sons. So he is not the same person ,when you question those who have seen the man , yet he is the same being , Trinity is a perfect Proof that One Being can be more than one Person. God gave a Tree in Genesis 1:12 in a three unity, the Tree, the Fruit , the Seed, The seed is really equal to the tree, since a tree grows out of the seed.
Thank you for the well done video. Not many people address the polytheistic aspect of Christianity.
To me Christianity was polytheistic and idolatrous, but they have a better sense of love and justice than the muslims. The muslims understand monotheism and condemn idolatry, but love is not their strong suit. Jews have one God, love, and justice.
You cannot defend the trinity pagan concept by using the scriptures it can only be defended by faith in what your Christian denomination has taught you from birth plain and simple. For 25years the trinity has confused me on who to direct my prayers but that is not a problem anymore. All my prayers go now directly to HaShem the Elohim of Abraham, Issac and Jacob!! That was the happiest day in my life when I knew for certain on who to worship praise the Almighty.
Good information! People have proved time and time again that Christianity is a farce. Its amazing how they continue to go on with this. The divinity of Jesus was decided by man. The trinity was developed by man. What else is left to say?
I think the term "trinity" throws people off. I believe G-d could reveal Himself in many forms here on earth and in the invisible and still remain G-d in Heaven. But the term "trinity" just sounds like your referring to three gods, I personally don't use that term. I just say that His nature in complex.
In Genesis the words "We" "Our" and "Us" are used in various verses when God is recorded as speaking.
Since God is Creator (nothing properly suggests that the Angels partook in Creation), are we to assume that this is a "royal plural"? If so, does Judaism hold to a belief that there is a "royal plural" when God speaks of Himself?
There are many anthropomorphic incidents in the Torah. Abrahams three guests, God's throne, Enoch walked with God and so on.
That's true about even children seeing that the trinity makes no sense. I was 5 and in a catechism class and questioned a nun about G-d could be three people in one, in three different forms, all of equal power but yet the "god" on earth praying to another "god" in heaven.
She said it was a mystery. I said it was nonsense and needless to say, I am no longer a christian or catholic.
@ReviewCam Let us face the fact that all religions are a farce. I mean really? One guy in somewhere creating things. When you die, it is it. Lights out. Neverthelesss, Jesus is interesting because of what he taught about forgiveness and unviolence. That is something I can do in life.
Nicely said. I see the trinity as no different than the idolatry found in Hinduism - belief in the Trimurti, which is made up of Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma. My daughter, at age 4, questioned someone on their belief in the 'three gods' by asking, "So, when Jesus was crying and making pishie in his diaper, who was running the world and answering prayers?" Even our children see this as strange and unbelievable. btw, she believed in flower fairies and unicorns at the time.

The reason you see the Trinity as idolatrous is that A. you have been taught that it is, & you assume that Rabbis know what they are talking about B. Christians do not fully understand the nature of God, therefore it is natural that they misrepresent it C. you refuse to acknowledge that God is vast, almighty, unsearchable & without any limits other than His own holiness. All Jews need do to understand how Jesus can be the One God is to read Genesis 18. He became a man then, He did again as Jesus

Can Judaism explain this?

G-d is eternal and cannot die. Tehillim 121 says that the guardian of Israel--G-d--neither slumbers nor sleeps. Jesus slept in his lifetime and died.
So he could not possibly be G-d since G-d neither slumbers nor sleeps and cannot die.
Great video. Nice to see that Jews for Judaism now has a presence on You Tube with good, reliable information.
