Colonel Hathi is the imbodiment of the type of former "Indian Army" British officer, of the type I knew as a small white boy growing up in the bush of Tanganyika/Tanzania... I love his swagger-stick! This guy reminds me of so many swaggering old Brits, who also never got to their story-line :-)
