I had a Russian Tortoise for a looong time (RIP *sad face*) and the walls on her table ended up being 18" for this reason lol. People kept telling me it was overkill, but I don't think they realize what climbers they can be, and sooo determined! I just ordered a baby Hermann's yesterday, it will be here in the morning. I can't wait. Cute li'l tort, good video.
Yes she hibernates, We hibernate her in the garage off the floor to protect from her from the frost. She will probably start hibernating from October / November.
