I use the word doctored because 90% or so of all Bush videos on YouTube are completely taken out of context for the sole purpose of promoting an exaggerated effect. I think it's disgraceful regardless of the candidate/president.

Agreed. A lot of Americans distinguish between the "War on Terror" and the "economy" often thinking McCain would be better at the "war" while Obama on the "economy." But one of Bin Laden's stated goals is to bankrupt the US, and regardless of the cause, he will be able to claim a victory regardless of the cause - many believe he bankrupted the USSR. Thus to do poorly with the economy is to do poorly in the "War on Terror." Also note the emphasis Reagan placed on consumerism - it's just sad.
