they go even darker with eyeshadow colors, i'm from Kuwait and i see them in shopping malls wearing the same type of make up ;)

Muzicgil: thanks , Alice, I had the same problem, tried all the brands, found out that Mac & Christien Dior are the best, if you are using another brand, slighly fix it with the pencil (eye liner). I tried it, it realy worked for me... I a arabic & I live in Dubai by the way, I can see all the kinds of eye make up especially gulf women, but this one is really amazing. Make the eye liner in the bottom thick, otherwise it makes your eyes deep & small. ;)

I think a beginner with a pencil will get something more Bollywood and less Arabian.

From cheap to expensive you can get liquid liner in a felt tip pen. This makes it easier to keep steady + you can get it past curly lashes easier.  It handle's like a pencil but goes on like a liquid. So it's good for beginners but also when you have naturally curly lashes(mine get gooped with the type of liner you're using and with brushes).

what type of liquid eyeliner do you use? i would suggest using waterproof or just a different brand. urban decay is my favorite for liquid liners :)

Annabelle has one at your drugstores , walmart etc .. and it has the felt tip ... it is amazing .. and lasts all day .. well at least for me .. and i have used a few .. and i found they bleed throughout the day . you shoulnt use liquid for the bottom get a pencil that glides on smooth and wont smudge and ruin your eyes but for the top you do want to use the liquid

Well, they d o actually, Im muslim and having lived in Dubai, I know that they are made for bold colours, its the way they brighten up the boring black abayas they have to wear!

Muslim women are only allowed to put black eye-liner under their eyes if that. Depends on what the husband will allow.

The Hijab is mandatory in most islamic countries as well as the buqra. Which is mostly what they wear. The latter only reveals the eyes. Muslim women are not to tempt muslim men.

actually its kinda difficult for some ppl to put liquid eyeliner ... then u can use a pencil eyeliner then use the brush to make it like smoky .. then u can put the eyeliner.. i think this makes it easier

LOL! I used to put that kind of eyeliner everyday before going to school, but like she said, it's really TIME CONSUMMING! So I don't it as much nowadays... but it's beautiful! I love the ways she explains it, it makes everything MUCH easier, especially for "amateurs" like me, lol...
