I got an '86 Celica GT-S and I saw a '87 Tercel on Craigslist for $500. It was in MINT condition with absolutely no rust; all it needed was a battery. That was 3 months ago and still to this day I regret not buying it. I love your Tercel btw, its looks/sounds badass!!!

I had an 86 4wd. It was uglier than a dog's ass (even from the factory). Nothing worked (no 4th gear, no heat/ac, and the crank was striped on all the windows). It was slower than a fucking turtle. But the engine/drive train was bullet proof. Could not kill it at all (and believe me i tried)! I had a set of 4 paddle tires that i put on it and take it (along with my quads) out to sand lake. Would take it dune jumping and everything. That car was so awesome in that respect.

i have a 96 tercel lol mine has dual magma flow exahuast wih dual quad tips and yeah mine sounds like a friken ferrari lol

I love my 86 tercel. It's the same color as yours :) I love to drive it. Excellent visibility, and decent acceleration for it's size. I've been thinking about making serious modifications to it to make it much faster. What about you?

it would probably would sound the same with no muffler.

not quite, with the cherrybomb on theres actually a little bit more backpresure so it gets a different sound. and plus they only cost $22
