Hi! I just swim 800 mts for my first time but I breath every second stroke if I do it every three or more strokes I'm out of air does that mean I have poor breathing or lack of retention of something? Is it bad? It can be improved some way?
@Ariyanaja - It is up to you... benefits to both. Breathing out through the nose is easier to control, and clears the nostrils. Breathing out through the mouth allows you to release air quicker should that be the need. Experiment with both and figure out which works best.
@Ariyanaja - Test them both and see what works best for you. Typically, nose, but don't do what's typical, do what works best for you after you've tried it all.
@ayces92 I started off breathing on the same side then eventually got to where I could do bi-lateral, now I can breath either side or bi-lateral. Good to try em all.

does my head needs to be fully under the water ? or just face ?
horror469 1 month ago
@horror469 - Just the face. While your head should be mostly under, if it's completely under you'll create too much resistance.

Should I exhale under the water by nose or mouth?
