  • @FyreFox94 Thanks man!!

  • is it me or are you leaning out after each shift looks good under boost tho??

  • Great Car...You planning on making more modifications?

  • @Mr10222010 Not anytime soon although one day I could see going with the 3 rotar

swap. 400+ rwhp is nice but 600 would be really awsome. Thanks for the comment

  • beautiful.

  • Is there any turbo lag.

  • Greddy type S bov :3

  • love the bov sound, nice rx7

  • @MAKfd Thanks!

  • the fd3s interior feels like a fighter jet with wheels, love it.

  • Yea look like charlie sheen, nice rx7 I miss the mine now:(

  • Greddy Type-S sounds just so awesome! Nice car!!

  • You look like charlie sheen. Love the car bro. Very nice.

  • @tyhicks2 I get that alot or Patrick Swayze hard to beleve you picked up on that in the rear view mirror.

    Thanks for the comment

  • Hey I was wondering what is street porting and periphial porting?

  • @heinamen It's much like porting a piston engines cylinder head

  • Can you list everything that's done to the motor? Would be much appreciated.

  • @noddleman1 Single turbo upgrade GReddy Trust TD-06 new rotor housings 3 mm apex seals street ported

but in my opinon all these upgrades are useless if you don't have the car dyno tuned by some one that realy knows what there doing!!

  • @oPEYOTEo Thanks!

  • excellent street turbo ya got there! spools just like the stockers without the compexity and heat related issues! Good choice! Car sounds clean and has a flat idle. The people at RP are awesome. By far the best shop I've ever dealt with in the 10+ years Ive been buying stuff for my FD.

  • @djf7 Yes you are right the people at Rotary Performance are awesome!!! When I first bought this car I shoulda shipped it to those guys rather then jacking around with Pettit racing and another shop down here I would've saved myself over 9000 dollars but you live and you learn. I was checking out your channel your car is awesome do you live in texas?

  • @rotarycomptech Thanks! No, I live in NJ. Got good shops up here that I've bounced around over the years, but looking back, shipping the car to RP would have been just as good, if not better. The way Ari, Chris and Mary handle their online and over the phone business, make me believe their service is excellent and equally professional. They always have parts in stock, both OEM and rare aftermarket.

  • @rotarycomptech im thinking about an rx7. hows the interior room it looks like it would be cramped all the time. Where is RP btw i live in illinois and dont want to have to ship the car too far

  • @crzystve42 if you are an average size guy it's not an issue I have a friend that 6 foot 6 inches tall and it's a little bit tight and cramped for him keep in mind it's a sports car not a lincoln town car rotary performance is located in garland texas just outside of dallas

  • @rotarycomptech ok perfect thanks. im 5 9" and i have a friend in texas. thanks for the help. btw where idd you get that wheel from? thats not stock is it?

  • @crzystve42 well then you're actually my same size with the driver seat fully extended all the way back you cannot operate the clutch for the gas to give you an idea for leg room for your size. the steering wheel is a Enfini wheel

  • @rotarycomptech i gotcha, thanks for the help man and btw sick ass ride

  • @crzystve42 thanks man I just got some new wheels and tires Toyo Proxes R888 9 inches in front 10 in the rear 1 inch wider all a way around with forge star wheels

  • @rotarycomptech oh damn bro, you gotta stop before i get too jealous lol. thats sick bro. whys the aftermarket single turbo better than the stock twin?

  • @crzystve42 the sequential system requires check valves solenoid valve pressure chambers and vacuum chambers to operate the single turbo requires none of these items also you can only make around 330 horsepower at the wheels with the twin set up reliability and more power are archieve with the single turbo

  • @rotarycomptech what type of bov is that ?

  • @djaygermain That would be a GReddy blow off valve thank you very much!

  • @rotarycomptech GReddy Type R BoV?

  • @Tj1056 that I don't know as I am the third owner and I think the first owner had that installed along with the GReddy elbow and there is no model# on it. Do you still got your FD 3 S ?

  • @rotarycomptech I see... yea the type R and RS look alike

  • @Tj1056 there is a better view of it on my latest video 93 fd close up I didn't quite understand if you still have your car or not

  • @rotarycomptech and yes I do still have it :)

  • @Tj1056 is it still running as I know how these cars can be

  • @rotarycomptech yes but there was a crossthreaded spark plug in it that needs to be fixed... but just having problems here and there removing stuff... other then that it runs strong... 180k with one rebuild

  • @Tj1056 ouch that cross threaded spark plugs sounds like a real pain in the ass I hate even ask how that happened around 145 k I think it least 4-5 motors by now 2 on my watch but the guys at rotary performance got this thing running better than ever

  • @rotarycomptech lol yea I am on upgraded 99 spec twin turbo... can push 400hp with my setup but not so reliably... can do 11s in the 1/4 mile at 14psi

  • @Tj1056 400hp does not do 11's in an rx7. your full of shit.

  • @Jlizel LOL.... and a 255hp rx7 car does not do 13s 1/4 mile... don't fool yourself dude... not hard to gain 2 seconds with 200hp more...

  • @Tj1056 oh so its not a 400hp rx7 its actually a 455hp rx7. your a dumbass stop bench dynoing you ricer. first its 400 then its 455 then its a bazillion gajillion 2356hp

  • @Jlizel no because the actually hp of the rx7 is something like 210hp or so... so please stop talking like a complete jackass because you don't know what you are talking about

  • @Jlizel Your right Tj056 Is a hugh dumb ass this guy has got shit for brains and he is very confrontional check out him on his channel doing donuts in the rain and loose gravel yeah right a 11 sec car my ass!!!!!

  • @rotarycomptech how do you get that noise when you shift from thw turbo? cus iv got a twin turbo on my 93 and doesnt do that.

  • @UFCownage the sound your hearing is charge air being exhausted to atmosphere out of the blow off valve the car no longer has the twin turbo sequential arrangement it's been upgraded to a single turbo you probably need to upgrade your blow off valve to hear that sound

  • Hello mate, so im lookin forward to buy a rx7 after sellin my e30, and the first thing that i wish to do on this car when i buy is to rebuilt the engine. I want all original parts as the seals and housings and rotors. How much would it cost me for the whole rebuilt factory. I will be driving it everyday so that is the reason until who knows.. loll so can you please give me a price on how much im lookin for? thank you

  • @zepyoor1234 I guess if I had to do it all over again I buy a car with a blown engine.ship it to rotary performance in garland texas.and go from there.it all depends on what kinda car you want a performance car or a stock car.the engine in my car is not a factory rebuild.it has 3 mm apex seals as opposed to 2 mm and has been street ported built with new rotor housings single turbo upgrade and over 100 dyno pulls total cost with shipping $15.000.00 preformance isn't cheap

  • what did it cost to get the conversion done? cars very clean. are you interested in selling?

  • @exposition1337 the turbo upgrade cost around 3500 dollars although that was just a small part of the work that was done in texas.the motor was rebuilt 3 millimeter apex seals new rotor housings and street ported to list a few things I have a lot of money invested in this car over 30,000 and have recently order new wheels and tires that are about 3500 dollars so to answer your question I really don't wanna sell it it would require an outrageous amount of money for me to let go of it

  • @rotarycomptech well good for you. wouldnt want to see you sell it unless it was to me :P you got any exterior or dyno shots?

  • sounds great. how much work is needed to swap from the dual sequential to the single?

  • @exposition1337 unfortunately I believe quite a bit of work although I did not do the work myself air plumbing and exhaust issues to deal with also I don't think you can run a single turbo with the factory ecu so to answer your question I don't think it's easy swap

  • Love it man. car sounds great.

  • @carsey51 Tanks man

  • i think this is the only video ive ever seen where the wideband is in view and the numbers ARENT blinking lol

my friend has a built 03 wrx and i just like watching the wideband in his car go back and forth with the numbers. (he has the same type as yours actually)

  • @dwnrety1 Thanks for the comment. The credit goes to the guys @ Rotary Preformance they realy spent a lot of time tuning this car and it shows

  • @z24supercharged well the sti will be probably a better choice of a vehicle for you considering how much the insurance can cost and reliability issues with the fd. plus the sti canbe made to haul ass

  • my car only have bout 400hp but it have more tq in the car i have a mustang i put in a 351 windsor motor in the car it is not a 302 motor hell na i did a swip and put in a 351 motor in it the car is fast it all motor i just lookin 4 a supra or rx7 but i hoop i can he from u soon thk u 4 taking yr time 2 read this my email is julissavargas89@aol.com

  • @GJO711 when you get the supra or rx-7 upload a vid

  • How reliable can a setup like this be? & how much does a street port rebuilt cost?

  • @FloridaEvoXTuner Reliabilty has always been a issue with the FD mostly wiring and sequental turbo problems. The guys @ Rotary Preformance corrected the typical wiring issues and installed the single turbo witch eliminated the troublesome vacuum lines and check valves. they gave me a 12 month or 12.000 mile warranty and they told me I should get at least 60K on the motor driving like you stoled it. The street porting cost $500. Thanks for the sub & comment

  • Well I do plan to make another video, probably @ the track with race fuel@18 psi boost the car will make around 427 rwhp. I don't plan to get into a high speed chase with the police maybe if I knew I was going to be dead in a year I would give it a go it would be fun but I got to much to lose

  • Drive Faster like you are evading from a police it looks more better fun to wach,

  • @gevorg95 that was dam neer 100 mph in a 55. Could have lost my licenes for that. I'll leave the evading to the gangsters lol

  • @rotarycomptech Can you make another video ? like show your car from outside, and evade from cops.

  • @z24supercharged Hey, your still young it's not a bad start. The FD RX-7 is not a car for the financially chalanged. have had the car for three years spent over 20K on mods and engine rebuilds

  • What turbo? Stock ported? What size secondaries?

  • @hotwheelz28 Single turbo GReddy (TDO-6) 1700 CC secondary injectors-Street ported rebuilt with new rotor housings 3 mm apex seals rebuilt dyno tuned @ Rotary preformance Garland,TX

  • Very nice FD!!

  • @TheRotaryRules Thanks Man

  • The boost in rx7s come in so damn smooth makes you feel like your in a rocket

  • @CrypticNexus777 Good point. it;s do to the single turbo. the factory sequental twins are not as clean through the RPM range

  • Thanks man, I know its a jap car but a rare one. I need to get some 100 octane fuel and make another vid @ 19 psi boost 430 rear wheel hp then its a hand full, dam its cold hear frost warnings

  • Damn Dave freakin wicked !!!
