I am probably the only person in the world who doesn't think Grohl is anything special. Everyone is always on his nuts about how great a drummer he is, but I've never heard anything in his drumming that was distinctive or interesting enough to make me take note.

@witchsphere -I own this KJ album, and it's really not my favorite KJ album. But my point was that DG's drumming doesn't really stand out in any way that makes me say to myself, this is very distinctive and impressive. Same goes for the drums on "Songs For the Deaf" by QOTSA (which is an album I like very much.) As for Grohl... well, I never liked the Foo Fighters, and Nirvana was pretty much all about Cobain. So... apparently I'm missing something, since everyone seems to admire his work.
