From my interpretation, up until now Ichigos power sources have been in conflict. Him self, zangetsu and his hollow powers. Whenever hes loosing, his own power has been conflicting with the other two. Whenever hes winning one of the others has assisted, but perhaps not 100%. In the latest Manga...it looks like all three powers are working together totally. I can't wait for the anime to show this new Ichigo

w8, I am confused again. What good did aizen's shikai did? He began the kidou at 0:40 the coffin completrely covered komamura at 0:48. Komamura saw him just before he started the kidou, so he had 8 seconds to react, but he just stood there!...
Even if that made sense, aizen wouldn't need the shikai to get close with such a slow opponent.
I h8 anime when it doesn't make sense and when ppl are so surprised they freeze. This scene has both...
@Zafoshin It's not supposed to actually have been a full 8 seconds, It's called dragging an event on to intensify dramatic effect. There's the instant flash step, which he might have been standing there the entire time for all we know. There's a short moment of shock for Komamura as he verifies that he sees Aizen in too places at once. By then, Aizen is already into the swing of casting his Kidou which makes it too late to react. All of this in "real" time frame would have been closer to 3 sec

He just stands there frozen, moving only his ayes, as if paralyzed! This scene is an example of dragging gone wrong...

Aizen knows about ulquiorra second release he was aware of ichigo's second hollow form then it's obvious he knew of ulq second form. This was all revealed last week, apparently aizen played ichigo from the beginning
I think this is how it goes correct me if im wrong any arrancar 11-99 are listed from birth order any arrancar 0-10 are made espadas and are listed by power and any arrancar with a 3 digit number is a former espada
He wasn`t aware of Aizen`s zanpakuto ability at that time, so I guess he got confused when he saw him stand next to Tosen, then appear in front of him. Either way, even if he were to avoid Aizen`s Kido, he would`ve still got owned right after, I mean c`mon, It`s Aizen.

How can ichigo ,who won kenpachi on a duel with only his shikai without getsuga, having a hard time with grimmjaw on bankai and with hollow mask (though he could have avoided a hit which he took to save orihime) while kenpachi 1 shots Noitora with holding his sword with 2hands.
@Kredelwow I believe that the Espada's levels of power aren't what you would think with their rank. For example, I believe Noitra was a lot weaker than Grimmjow even though he outranked him and the ranks are supposed to go in order of power from 9 to 0. People's powers change over time, Ulqiuorra for example was probably the strongest or second strongest simply due to his second transformation which he said he kept secret from the others, which explains him being only number 4.
@Laurcus Id say even in his 2nd release he would only be #3 cuase i dont think he would have a chance of beating baragans powers and stark is just to powerful (dispite what people may think about the way he died he fought 4 captian/senior captian level people)
To be honest, I think Ulquiorra could have wasted any of the other Espada in his second ressurection form. Baragan's power is nice and all, but Ulquiorra has instantaneous regeneration. If his arm ages and rots off he just grows a new one. Besides, to quote Aizen "A battle between shinigami is a battle of reiatsu" That was what Aizen said to Soi fon when her Shikai hit him, but failed to kill him. I believe that Ulquiorra was strong enough to where he could overcome Baragan with his reiatsu.
@TemariGuy579 I still can't see Ulquiorra having any trouble with him, Maybe it's because Starkk didn't get enough screen time so to speak, but he just didn't seem that tough. From what i've seen, it seemed to me that Ichigo and Ulquiorra were at least 5 times stronger than anyone else except for maybe Aizen and Yamamoto. Even Unohana was surprised with how strong Ichigo is, and she thought to herself that he might be WAY stronger than even high ranking captains.
How can you say that? Ulquiorra was rightfully number 4. Starrk fought the hardest opponents possible at 4 on 1 and still almost won. Ichigo barely beat grimmjow who was number 6, and couldn't beat Ulquiorra's first release. Kyarouku (pimp captain) and Ukitake are like twice as strong as Ichigo, they have been captains for hundreds of years. Kyorouku or watever would have mopped the floor with Ulquiorra, he never even used his bankai on Starrk who is way stronger than Ulqui.
I say that because we really have a large lack of information. We don't know a whole lot about how the Espada ranks are done, except they're supposed to be ranked in order of weakest to strongest. But who determines who is stronger and how? The only thing I could think of is a duel. Ulqui said he never showed his true form to anyone, not even Aizen. So it's logical to assume that wasn't taken into account when he was given a rank or whatever.
We also don't have anything to gauge Ichigo and Ulqui's power on right now. Both of them were fighting in forms we've never seen them use before so we have nothing to compare to really. Now if either of them had fought Starkk or one of the captains that we've seen fight several times before, like Byakuya or Hitsugaya or Kenpachi THEN we would have some good data to compare. Our biggest problem is simply a lack of information.
This is very true, with the exception of Unohana and old man Yamma, Kyoraku and Ukitake are the two oldest and perhaps most powerful captains out of the 13. It's often stated that Yammamoto practically considers them his children.
@yogurtman321 i dont think starrk is stronger than ulquiorra. Ulquiorra was the only espada capable of performing a second stage release, which even aizen had not yet seen. I'm fairly sure that would have drastically increased his rank

You have no way of knowing how they would have measured up next to Ulquiorra either. Never seen a captain with a reiatsu that was so dense it seemed like it was raining. Ulquiorra is a poor comparison since he had 2nd stage

Usually a main character will grow at such a fast rate he is literally increasing 10x more powerful every battle, its impossible for a main character to lose on top of that. Any battle ichigo has ever had should not be considered in any sort of scale of power between characters. Ulquirra's final attack was too slow it was incomplete.

Right now in the manga Ichigo is the strongest.Aizen did this spell perfectly on Ichigo and Ichigo broke it like it was nothing.

From my interpretation, up until now Ichigos power sources have been in conflict. Him self, zangetsu and his hollow powers. Whenever hes loosing, his own power has been conflicting with the other two. Whenever hes winning one of the others has assisted, but perhaps not 100%. In the latest Manga...it looks like all three powers are working together totally. I can't wait for the anime to show this new Ichigo

The large vizard in the pink suit and urahara's assistant can both do the 90's without incantations and still make the most of it's power, meaning that they're better than aizen in controlling the spell. but scarily, aizen took down komamura and he isn't even able to harbor it's full power...crazy. Does anyone remember which one was the captain and which one was the leuitenant of the kido-corps? The vizard in the pink or urahara's assistant?

w8, I am confused again. What good did aizen's shikai did? He began the kidou at 0:40 the coffin completrely covered komamura at 0:48. Komamura saw him just before he started the kidou, so he had 8 seconds to react, but he just stood there!...
Even if that made sense, aizen wouldn't need the shikai to get close with such a slow opponent.
I h8 anime when it doesn't make sense and when ppl are so surprised they freeze. This scene has both...

@Zafoshin It's not supposed to actually have been a full 8 seconds, It's called dragging an event on to intensify dramatic effect. There's the instant flash step, which he might have been standing there the entire time for all we know. There's a short moment of shock for Komamura as he verifies that he sees Aizen in too places at once. By then, Aizen is already into the swing of casting his Kidou which makes it too late to react. All of this in "real" time frame would have been closer to 3 sec

@StupidButCunning Yeah, he was standing there all the time, as they say in the vid. But even if it was 3 seconds, he is a captain. He should at least have been able to move, if not escape. He just stands there frozen, moving only his ayes, as if paralyzed! This scene is an example of dragging gone wrong...

Aizen is pure pwnage... I don't like him but I must admit he's some crazy powered up steroid captain.
I think the key to his power may be his glasses. When he takes them off he tends to get more powerful. Imagine how ironic that would be for an ending:
"No don't put my glasses back on... my power is leaving me "
+ I hope Gin somehow survives he's great with the little grin. :D

That's the point! It's not a boring anime/manga where your typical bad guy gets beaten straight away or by the main character when they arrive (as shown in episode 55 or w\e when Ichigo runs towards Aizen and he stops him with one finger and destroys Ichigo).

I think this is how it goes correct me if im wrong any arrancar 11-99 are listed from birth order any arrancar 0-10 are made espadas and are listed by power and any arrancar with a 3 digit number is a former espada

He wasn`t aware of Aizen`s zanpakuto ability at that time, so I guess he got confused when he saw him stand next to Tosen, then appear in front of him. Either way, even if he were to avoid Aizen`s Kido, he would`ve still got owned right after, I mean c`mon, It`s Aizen.

i got a question peeps how can you say who is strongest while we are lacking so many information on the anime/manga?
well guessing up with the facts we got so far is not bad but bleach confusing me sometimes for example:
How can ichigo ,who won kenpachi on a duel with only his shikai without getsuga, having a hard time with grimmjaw on bankai and with hollow mask (though he could have avoided a hit which he took to save orihime) while kenpachi 1 shots Noitora with holding his sword with 2hands.

ichigo beat kenpachi coz he had not only zangetsu, but also if u see his reatsu u can see a hollow figure, implying hollow ichigo helped him
also, kenpachi probably went and started training or soemthing to be stronger

that zangetsu thing was close to a bankai form(yoruichi said that to ichigo when he was training to get his bankai) but NOT bankai.
And plus kenpachi had also a hollow figure at his reiatsu so hollow ichigo didn't helped him imo.

@Kredelwow I believe that the Espada's levels of power aren't what you would think with their rank. For example, I believe Noitra was a lot weaker than Grimmjow even though he outranked him and the ranks are supposed to go in order of power from 9 to 0. People's powers change over time, Ulqiuorra for example was probably the strongest or second strongest simply due to his second transformation which he said he kept secret from the others, which explains him being only number 4.

To be honest, I think Ulquiorra could have wasted any of the other Espada in his second ressurection form. Baragan's power is nice and all, but Ulquiorra has instantaneous regeneration. If his arm ages and rots off he just grows a new one. Besides, to quote Aizen "A battle between shinigami is a battle of reiatsu" That was what Aizen said to Soi fon when her Shikai hit him, but failed to kill him. I believe that Ulquiorra was strong enough to where he could overcome Baragan with his reiatsu.

@TemariGuy579 I still can't see Ulquiorra having any trouble with him, Maybe it's because Starkk didn't get enough screen time so to speak, but he just didn't seem that tough. From what i've seen, it seemed to me that Ichigo and Ulquiorra were at least 5 times stronger than anyone else except for maybe Aizen and Yamamoto. Even Unohana was surprised with how strong Ichigo is, and she thought to herself that he might be WAY stronger than even high ranking captains.

How can you say that? Ulquiorra was rightfully number 4. Starrk fought the hardest opponents possible at 4 on 1 and still almost won. Ichigo barely beat grimmjow who was number 6, and couldn't beat Ulquiorra's first release. Kyarouku (pimp captain) and Ukitake are like twice as strong as Ichigo, they have been captains for hundreds of years. Kyorouku or watever would have mopped the floor with Ulquiorra, he never even used his bankai on Starrk who is way stronger than Ulqui.

I say that because we really have a large lack of information. We don't know a whole lot about how the Espada ranks are done, except they're supposed to be ranked in order of weakest to strongest. But who determines who is stronger and how? The only thing I could think of is a duel. Ulqui said he never showed his true form to anyone, not even Aizen. So it's logical to assume that wasn't taken into account when he was given a rank or whatever.

We also don't have anything to gauge Ichigo and Ulqui's power on right now. Both of them were fighting in forms we've never seen them use before so we have nothing to compare to really. Now if either of them had fought Starkk or one of the captains that we've seen fight several times before, like Byakuya or Hitsugaya or Kenpachi THEN we would have some good data to compare. Our biggest problem is simply a lack of information.

This is very true, with the exception of Unohana and old man Yamma, Kyoraku and Ukitake are the two oldest and perhaps most powerful captains out of the 13. It's often stated that Yammamoto practically considers them his children.

Ulquorria was either #1 or #2 strongest, given his 2nd release and how it was described and what it took Ichigo two defeat him.
Wonderweiss was destroyed by Yamamoto very very easily. But of course Yamamoto is the strongest Shinigami ever.
Yammi, we shall see what he can do.
Yamamoto used way of destruction 96 on Aizen at full power, while Yamamoto was injured.

@yogurtman321 Sadly you are incorrect to make this statement. Don't assume an unused bankai would make a big difference. Sure, it's a bankai, but that doesn't necessarily mean it would help in a way that's needed. Those 2 didn't use their bankais...perhaps, for a good reason?
You have no way of knowing how they would have measured up next to Ulquiorra either. Never seen a captain with a reiatsu that was so dense it seemed like it was raining. Ulquiorra is a poor comparison since he had 2nd stage

I imagine it like this way, we are stronger and smarter when we are breathing in pure oxygen than the current oxygen level on earth which is 20 percent.

@yogurtman321 actually kyorouku was able to wound starrk pretty well out of surprise.. battles arent won with strength, but with cunning ability, and kyorouku-taicho is pretty much the most hidden dark cunning beneath all that carefree-ness to mask it o.O (well more like second to urahara cause i wouldnt consider mayuri to be hiddenly cunning when he pretty much want to express it like a continuous poisonous orgasm ._.;) ulquiorra would have been a number 2 or 3.. but Aizen has plans ofcourse.

@lilsm555 its funny how people are still arguing about this, Ichigo, his hollow and every battle he has ever fought they are called main character battles. Usually a main character will grow at such a fast rate he is literally increasing 10x more powerful every battle, its impossible for a main character to lose on top of that. Any battle ichigo has ever had should not be considered in any sort of scale of power between characters. Ulquirra's final attack was too slow it was incomplete.

And when it comes to Ichigo you can't say that he is weaker tan some captains, he friging won against Byakuya and Kenpaichi, and all of us know that Byakuya is one of the fastest shinigami there are and Kenpaichi is the strongest.
