  • Hey good vid. Tell me when should you ice an area instead of heating an area?

  • Quick question for you, Dr: can subluxations cause other pain symptoms, like soreness or sensitivity in the skin areas near the subluxation? If so, is it caused by the effect on nerves in those areas?

  • @marcogiuliano1 Doc, what's it like to be so awesome? ;-) Good health and wellness!

  • @marcogiuliano1 : A subluxation is an umbrella term chiropractors use to describe a dysfunctional joint. I stated that for a bone to be out of place there needs no be some ligamentous damage. Bones do not move out of place "normally" and what a chiropractor is actually doing is restoring proper motion to a joint... not aligning it. I am not discrediting chiropractic or saying it doesn't work. PS I am in chiropractic. Just saying that you pushing solely Gonstead is not the "best practice"

  • Can I come in for an adjustment even if I am not in pain Dr. G?

  • so is Gonstead Chiropractic different from mainstream chiropractic? I've been having a hard time finding a Chiropractor whom I've felt has really helped my condition. I have a compression fracture at t6 and a mild one at t7 and I'm only 24 years old.

  • I hope this treatment helped her.

  • Marco Giuliano? typical italian name

  • What is this "nervoscope" supposed to show? I didn't see your meter change at all.

  • He handled that like a mob boss.

  • Upload more videos Dr.Giuliano. I love watching them all but we need more!! (= Really good job. Keep it up.

  • I just want to get my back adjusted cuz i crack it a lot and i think i might be putting it in the wrong position each time i crack it. Is that a good enough reason to get an adjustment? plus, it looks really cool!!!

  • @kelleeeykeene2 oh no pplease i was not saying that his hands look bad i was just asking

that by his hands looks like he is a boxer as i was one too in my college days.

  • what do you suggest if I find the traction always hurts me... is it best just to skip it I suffer from my not too severe lower back pain

  • @sneakonproductionz Traction artificially stretches ligaments and can cause more damage than good, that's why Gonstead doctors never use it. It is the worst thing you can perform on the spine. It straightens the lordotic curve of the lumbar and cervical spine. I would urge you to find a Gonstead doctor of chiropractic in your area and get good Gonstead adjustments.

  • If you need help locating your nearest Gonstead chiropractor, please message us or call us at (818) 558-4030. Thanks, and good luck.

  • would you happen to know of a chiropractor in Charlotte, NC (on the north side)?

  • @TheImmaculateAR You may want to research Dr. Craig Schulman. I don't know him personally, but from what I understand he is a Gonstead ]chiropractor in your area. Best of luck.

  • are you a boxer too doc... your hands say sooo?

  • @crabcutter I'm a retired football player, and I have boxed all my life.

  • @crabcutter His hands are no too bad it looks like hes taken a break def... seen worse lol. You a boxer to.

  • ha this guys straight up italian ...i love him!!!

  • what does the cool table that lifts you up and down help with. other than being cool that is

  • thx for the referral. Dr. Mendez

  • @mendezdc You're welcome.

  • Foooorget about it!

  • Maybe its the father of Barney Stinson. He dont go out without a suit ;)

  • Do u know anyone in northern new jersey near nyc?

  • @jjhaywood You may want to look into Dr. Jerry Mendez. He's a Gonstead chiropractor in Teaneck, NJ.

  • "Perrrrfect"

  • But on the more serious side. Good work, Doc!

  • If John Travolta and Gene Simmons had a kid, and then that kid grew up and eventually took steroids, this would be him

  • @geauxtigers16 i can see Gene simmons but not so much Travolta, i would suggest maybe a little Alec or Billy Baldwin

  • @PhsycadelicRock it's LA

  • Are patients like Roxie who are long term on some type of annual program where they pay a set amount of money each year? I'm trying to figure out how the financial works in Chiropractic

  • @mythicalhell We accept all PPO insurance, so for all of our patients who have PPO insurance, we bill the insurance, and depending on their particular plan, they typically either pay nothing or just a co-payment. Whether that patient has health insurance for us to bill, or pays out of pocket, we charge per visit, not per month of per year.

  • @marcogiuliano1 Oh ok, thanks for answering my question. I have medicare so have to find a doc who accepts that and lives in a reasonably close distance from me. Anyway, hope your practice thrives during these difficult times.

  • @mythicalhell Well, if you like I'd be happy to refer you to a Gonstead chiropractor in your area. If you're near Burbank, CA, please contact my office. Although not a Medicare provider, I have many senior citizens as patients, and I offer a senior discount. Our phone number is (818) 558-4030.

  • @marcogiuliano1 I live in North Port Florida. If I lived near your office I would have called you by now. Thanks.

  • @mythicalhell The Gonstead chiropractor nearest to you is Dr. Linda Stevens in Fort Myers. Good luck!

  • @marcogiuliano1 Thank you very much for all of your time.

  • Okay I saw some of you videos andI I find them really good but I still have one question

    What is Gonstead?

  • you're a bodybulder !

  • this guy is a true class act, an asset to the community

  • @thuggoe Thank you very much.

  • at 4:02 is bone cracking or the table noise?

  • @Spies152 It's the table making the noise.

  • Are going to be uploading anymore videos Dr. G? You seem very in control and professional, great videos.

  • @ We hope to upload more videos soon. Thanks Tony!

  • Thank you for the compliments. I work very hard to provide my patients with the best chiropractic care possible.

  • you did a great work sir, very professional and neat!

  • Seems like a real a professional

  • this guy does pushups for breakfast

  • @ADHD2007 i was just about to make a comment when i saw yours... awesome.

  • Chiropractors really do help a lot with spine and neck pain.

  • @jordantiller It's only temporrary. Although I do agree that it's better to have it than not.

  • @MrJuanlennon How can anyone know it's "only temporary" when pain itself is subjective to someone else? Chiropractors would like to see their patients free of pain, but that is NOT their cause, as so many people mistakenly believe. The "adjustment" is done to restore and maintain health and self-healing by protecting the brain and spinal cord (when needed). This is important because if your nervous system loses that protection, then it's not getting the proper signals from your environment.

  • @InnateWhisper A blind statement indeed...How can anyone know it's "only temporary"

BECAUSE IT STARTS TO HURT AGAIN!

  • @MrJuanlennon Your initial comment AND your response were blind statements because you don't understand what Chiropractic is. Pain is a symptom of something wrong in the body, not the cause. Chiropractors correct the cause, not the symptom. What good is correcting the pain if you don't correct the cause of the pain?

  • @InnateWhisper Ok then. Attention everyone! Whoever has back pain simply go to a Chiropractor and after some treatment you will be good to go.

  • @MrJuanlennon And if your body is unable to adapt to its environment, your body goes into emergency mode (fight-or-flight) to keep itself alive. It's wear-and-tear on your body. Having your body on overdrive too long shortens your life and as your life shortens, your quality of life decreases. Unfortunately, this is the case for a lot of people. This is why we do what we do. The world needs to understand where health and healing really comes from: above down inside and out.

  • @jordantiller The #1 job of the spinal column is to protect the nervous system. It does so while allowing motion to take place. When the spine is subluxated, pain will occur. However, not always. Pain is a symptom. The purpose of chiropractic is to get sick people well and help them stay well. We are primarily concerned with the structure of the spine as it relates to the function of the nervous system.

  • @jordantiller With that said, pain will usually return. This is good. Pain is like a fire alarm telling you something is wrong with your nervous system. If you take drugs to take away the pain, you cut the cord of the fire alarm & you may miss a larger problem. A good DC will recognize this and fix it.

  • Yep, not only does the good Chiropractor do his practice in suit, he even works out in one as well :D

  • God this guy looks like he could kick my ass any day of the week o_o

  • the godfather of chiropractic care.

  • boy looking clean, p.i.m.p.

  • No tie? Must be informal friday dr g !

  • This guy kinda looks like one of the guys from the Sopranos.."She rides horses...she got bucked off her horse, so we bucked the horse off..if you know whata mean..."

  • @ADHD2007 I was thinking more alec baldwin.

  • Nice vid. You're a bit overdressed for the occasion though.

  • @Beau74 my boy dr g got style bro.

  • Thank you for the kind comments. It's so encouraging to know that there are excellent Gonstead students like yourself continuing our work. I wish you the best in your career.

  • This is exactly what I want to do with the rest of my life. No More, No More.

Thanks so much for posting. I've got 1.5 semesters of chiro college left and this is a great inspiration. Thank you Dr Giuliano.
