Some bikes dont let you downshift if the bike isnt moving. My ex honda xr125l didnt let me downshift, then I decided to force through 3 and second to neutral. When I did downshift to second gear I heard very loud "bang" from transmission, luckily I didnt break anything. I havent tried it with my bandit 1200(current bike).
you can stop then go through the gears to find neutral. This doesnt do any real damage, But its good riding practise to always be in the right gear just in case you might need to accelerate away for some reason..
I have a question...someone told me that you damage your bike when your coming to a stop and you just put it in neutral instead of down shifting. Is this true?
as long as you go through the gears untill you get to neutral theres no harm in "coasting" to a stop in neutral. It simply means theres no drive to the back wheel.
i use a solid state recorder that take sd memory cards and can record 640x480 which is good enough for youtube. i also have a small camera i can stuff inside my crash helmet like mordeth13 does

Hey dude new to your vids, Only just subscribed.
Can I just ask where you have the camera mounted?
I've been looking to mount a camera to my front forks so it looks along the wheel but im worried about wind noise.
Nice ride.
Hope all is well
