I have a pure bred spitz but she got out during when she was in heat and there are always these two god damn male chiwawas running around in neighborhood and now guess what... my little Ellie is pregnant and I always wanted her first babies to be pure bred, not half chiwawas and I have no Idea how they are gonna look but hopefully the chiwawa halfwon't end up ruining the cute spitz half x)

not a chance, we bought ours 12 yrs ago for 350 each (which would be a lot more now). Besides, if you can only afford to pay 50 for a dog you probably can't afford the continual upkeep.

That's less money then you'd spend a mixed breed dog at a shelter.. in the US a Spitz puppy usually costs $800-$2,000. Annual upkeep is loads more.

i got three pure bred spitz's for 600 euro,.. 200 each (around 380 dollars(?)). you can tell if they're pure bred by the black nails and the roof of their mouths are black. They're worth the upkeep and all the cost.

They tend to shed quite a bit, so they need to be brushed on a daily basis or a thorough brushing once or twice a week. They also have thick fur when they grow up which also sheds twice annually i think that its once in the summer and annother time somewhere right after winter. You should get one if shedding isnt a big problem, their love is totally worth it! I have one myself :P

I have a Shiba Inu, another spitz breed from Japan. He used to bark & growl @ his reflection. lol.

Later, when he was older he started getting defiant & aggressive so I put a big mirror up against the wall on the floor in my lounge. Seeing this reminded him that he is a DOG. All bad behaviour stopped in one day.
