actually, being one who tried all Gatsby, I'm confident enough in saying this guy's hair is too long, and nuance motion actually does wonders for medium hair. Not as defined as gray, but it has sort of a wispy look to it.

Red - Spiky Edge

Purple - Wild Shake

Orange - Loose Shuffle

Green - Air Rise

Blue - Cool Wet

Grey - Grunge Mat

Orange - Mediem/ Long hair. Form layers and curly style! ( I use this one)

the yellow one isn't supposed to have a strong hold...it's for natural looking texture/styles. Hence the name "NUANCE motion." Natural hairstyles would move around a lot, therefore the yellow one isn't built to have a strong hold, just to accentuate the hairstyle without making it look fake or styled.

THe purple and pink ones have the strongest hold, but are made for short hairstyles, because short hair needs a stronger hold, since all you can do is spike it really.

btw, the product says right on it 極上ゆる技、脱力感アレンジきちんとキマる　which means "superb loose technique. a sense of slow arrangement so you can properly decide."

In other words, you can take your time styling cause it isn't instant drying, and it's made for very loose (AKA non-holding) styles.

But it IS annoying if you can't read Japanese...I think all American stores that carry it should at least hang up the chart that shows what each one is for...

Where do you live? IF your in the Auckland region then your lucky, and if your in the North Shore area than your in luck, if not you got some traveling to do. There is a small Japanese shop thats opened in Glenfield (Sunnynook Area) or in Wairau Park. Not sure how much it was. But you can get it, including Gatsby instant hair colour bleach.
