I got all 4 Seasons on DVD and there Awesome! I grew up watching Knightrider on tv in the 1980's and I was Thrilled when the 1st Season went on DVD. I can enjoy the DVD's at anytime because it brings back a Lot of Memories!!

Comparing Knight Rider to the Dukes of Hazzard is like comparing a Nobel Prize winner to Larry The Cable Guy. To this day it still astounds me that Dukes of Hazzard lasted more than one season. It was easily one of the dumbest TV shows ever to be produced. Knight Rider had it's negatives too, but for the most part, it was far more intelligent (and entertaining) than Dukes ever was.

@trilogypart3 wow what a harsh comment triolgy. dukes was a good show, and speaking as a southern man, it wasn't a bunch of ignorant cusses running around. dukes easily drew more money than knight rider. but it's really unfare to compare them.

I just bought the COMPLETE 4-season box set of 26 DVDS containing ALL episodes. It cost me 95.49 euro. But it HAS to be owned. I will make love to this box set when it arrives.

No it wasn't a replica but NBC were keen to play up the rivalry between the two shows. Even the early Knight Rider promotional posters sat K.I.T.T. next to an orange Dodge Charger proclaiming "The Competition is No Competition." :)
