Perhaps "free" is not the best word. I very much like your suggestion of "cooperation", "working together". I am interested in getting the idea across that riders do not "conquer" (or dominate, etc.) the horse. It is, after all, a Dance...the Tao Dance.

"Frees the horse" of any preconceived ideas of conquest ? So...why the spur, the rein. Nice, but not really "free". Make up your mind. We ride them ...or let them go "free"..(to starve ?)What about a team...cooperation, working together ? "Free" is not the right word,I think.
