  • is neytiri using dragonfly wings for glasses? wow, never noticed that :P

  • i love this movie!

  • It's hard to believe this movie came out in 2009 how quick time flew by.

  • man, i felt soooo happy for him after he was finally able to be with them :D

  • I usually go against the crowd when an insanely popular movie comes out, but I freaking loved Avatar.

  • ...so apparently theres gonna be an avatar 2 in 2014? or so ive heard.. i want a sequel! heck, i want a saga!!

  • @Yuki071One Avatar 2 in 2013 and after that avatar 3 in 2014 and james cameron is thinking of making a 4th it was on channel ten(australia) interview

  • Even though the plot of Avatar was weak, the unbelievable visuals and epic soundtrack made up for it.

The movie is still overrated, though :\

  • avatar is okay. It is not the best movie. I give it a B or so. Cameron is overrated just because his movie make 1 billion dollar.

  • Epic movie and awesome soundtrack... watch that shit 6times in one week oO sit down and enjoy James Camerons damn hard ass kick:)

  • Jeez, the best part is watching it in 3D

  • Yup, definitely a IMO moment there. The plot was very dull; it was like Pocahontas all over again. The music is pretty epic though. ^^

  • @theComputerVoice

I agree, you could tell how the movie was gonna end by the first 5 minutes, but the music was very epic

  • Avatar is best movie i'v ever seen!

  • Avatar was a horrible waste of time, talent and money. Its like Pocahontas with space ships.

  • @wangmsater maibe. but i make really good. is a fable, and the fable never twiligth

  • I think this movie was okay. It was fun to watch while it lasted, but it wasn't really great enough to be memorable. The plot didn't seem wholesome enough for me to actually consider it that good of a movie. And the writing will always be the most important part of any movie ever made with no exceptions. If filmmakers do not notice that, and try to focus more on CG or even cinematography over the characters and their story, their movie will soon be forgotten.

  • Like the song. Movie had a couple of plot holes.

For one thing: towards the ending. Why the hell were there ground troops?

Weren't they FLYING the bomb into position?

So why were there ground troops?

  • @Ryanowning They were trying to find the people using avatars because they knew about jake and how he was leading them and feeding them information about how to stop the attack

  • @TheChrism109 Yeah, but why bother? They knew they would win if they just blew the tree up.

  • @Ryanowning It's always good to cover all the fronts and destroy your enemy in as many ways as possible. Besides, Jake was a powerful figure with the Navi at this point. If they could eliminate him, it would cause chaos among them. This would make it easier to blow up the tree.

  • @Rezindez When on bombing runs you typically don't want to use up valuable resources that a ground assault would cost when you can easily deploy your ships to protect the bombers. In this case they didn't need ground soldiers AT ALL, the Navi had no anti-air capabilities so deploying ground soldiers was a huge cost that made little sense from a military stand-point. While I agree that hunting main figure heads is important, knocking down the tree was obviously a higher priority.

  • @Ryanowning But it's still surrounded by forestry, which ships can't easily navigate. I guess it could also amount to tactical diversity, a phrase I am not afraid to admit that I just made up on the spot. On the off-chance that the Navi could figure out a way to overpower the planes with a consistently good strategy, they would still have had the ground troops as a good plan B. Or they ran out of planes and were just trying to find ways to make use of a full deployment.

  • @Rezindez Tactical Diversity isn't a made up phrase, but it's not a commonly used one either. Unfortunately, ground forces are not a reliable Plan B for search and destroy missions, air strikes are. As for navigation, that is a good point, many times throughout the movie they stressed that the tree disrupts navigation equipment, however, that doesn't mean the pilots can't use sight to line up the bombing run like in WW2. As for off-chance scenarios, they knew the Navi had no chance of that.

  • @Ryanowning I guess the problem might have been that not all of the troops were trained with helicopters (or whatever those things were)? There are a lot of different branches of military with different skillsets. In other words, they couldn't have used these guys for bombing, since they weren't trained to use those vehicles. Not every fighting military man is trained in the Air Force. So in order to gain a maximum advantage, they deployed ground forces along with air forces to get more troops.

  • @Rezindez That's true, but it's still a terrible idea to deploy all of your standing forces for one final attack like that. They could have certainly used for soldiers on the big bomber thing during the fight, but they quickly ran out of people because of the areal assault. Regardless of maximum advantage, deploying all standing forces in a single mission which can be completed by a single bombing run is folly. It shows extreme lack of strategic planning and judgement.

  • @Ryanowning Oh. Okay then.

  • Slow version of "I See You" ?

  • If you like this, you should listen to the braveheart soundtrack too, similar in parts ^^

  • i have ADD so i cant stick to something for more than 15 mins, i also have tourettes which also plays up when i watch films, but i can honestly say i watched this film so many times and im still not bored of it :D

  • One amazing Soundtrack has this movie!

OST: Jakes first Flight is definitely my fav.

  • Most inspiring movie ever..

  • The movie is AMAZING to look at (seriously if you are saying ‘NO IT WASN’T’ then you are definitely being a hater) BUT the story plot was totally 100% without a doubt PREDICTABLE!!! OH come on people you already knew halfway through the movie after the doctor died that wheelchair buddy wasn’t gonna die and probably become a ‘Na’vi’ too and maybe get the girl in the end and what do you know hmm that’s exactly what happen but still….it was still nice to look at. XD LOL!!

  • EPIC movie O-O

    EPIC music O-O

    EPIC director O-O

    EPIC effects O-O

    EPICNESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! X3333333333

    <3

  • @Srewtheshadow

    SO TRUE MY FRIEND!

  • @Srewtheshadow The only thing that wasn't epic was the plot. Too predictable. Too generic. But other than that I completely agree with you.

  • Don't get me wrong, the movie was OK, but nothing more. It seemed like they focused more on the CGI then the actual story.

  • @AvengedOutcast that was the point the plot was pocahontas all over again thats all it was supposed to be the CGI and atleast that was prettyer than our world our planet is practicly dead i would love to see a place as natueraly pretty as that :)

  • @namelesslove21 Maybe so, but calling it a "Block buster hit" just because of the way it looks sounds completely ridiculous.

  • this song reminded me how awesome avatar waz (:

  • this song reminded me how AWESOME avatar was (:

  • The 6 people who disliked this are obviously the humans who are still pissed off about getting their asses kicked.

  • Just appreciate the song. Its pure artistry.

  • A little bit old, but it is very good background music, fantastic!!

Compliments for James Cameron's 'Avatar'! i've seen the movie in the cinema. Great job!

  • yes the motive is typical, but we must really respect the effort of bringing such realistic and fantastic people and scenery. and 10 yrs of building the avatar world... 10 yrs, its not a short time, and director Cameron could spend all that time just to create a movie with jaw-dropping image and actions. the storyline's typical because only the typical one can provide most action scenes and allow a great creation on other aspects. I really love this movie, and moreover, respect it.

  • DISAGREED! James Cameron made the film he wanted too. It was neat visuals, but not groundbreaking. Instead it vaguely tried to shove anti-whatever messages down our throats disguised by average writing and direction and shitloads of fancy crap.

  • Goosebumps...

  • I loved this movie. The message behind it was conveyed beautifully. "If Grace is with you, look in to her memories. There is no green on our home world. They killed our mother." =')

  • ponytail-sex^^

  • Hmm, I loved the movie, but it just seemed too typical. the whole natives who are one with nature going up against the corperate arseholes who wish to take their land, of course there had to be one of those arseholes who decides to convert and become the whole new plot twist that just about saves the whole native race from being kicked out or killed...... Oh did I forget to mention spiolers? Woops... o.o;;

  • @MarkirusXI It may seems typical, but we both know it happened in the past on earth several times and It could happen again in the future if we don't try to change our minding on how we see the world. This is what I felt from the movie and even if it's a little or more typical, it won't change anything because I know the movie wasn't just a plain edited movie cliché.

  • Nice gauges, they must reek.

  • @Yamikura777 Gauges reek?

  • *-* i love !!!

  • how did you get this to be featured?

  • Watched it four times in the cinema. Loved it every time!

  • Yeah it really is a great movie, though just for one time... it's not something you can come back too, it's boring when watching 2nd time...

  • Is Avatar good? I never watched it before, but the soundtrack sounds awesome! :D

  • @MsNamingway hellz yea dude. the animations, storyline, and and character developements are amazing. some might oppose of that, but just watch it and see for youself.

  • @MsNamingway No offence but i truly hated the movie... sorry.... I just thought it was to long and could've ended any time and i ended up falling asleep during the movie...

  • @MsNamingway It's good, but its a rip off of Pocohantas

  • @shaneymane15

Nothing is original in these days.

All the ideas have pretty much been taken away through the past million years.

  • @MsNamingway Not sure if you care anymore, but I liked the movie. Sort of like Pocahontas with blue people, but so much more epic. I would watch it if you haven't already. It is brilliant and extremely epic near the end

  • @spidermanandsnape It's pretty much Dances With Wolves plotwise. Soldier befriending the natives and ends up siding with them. Only difference is that in Avatar he's forced to do make contact and the whole use of 'avatars'.

  • @MsNamingway tell you the truth, it wasn't so great. Only music and visuals are good in it but everything else... Left a lot to be desired :/ (my opinion)

  • @MsNamingway when you watch it you will never stop. ever.

  • AWESOME

  • I always look at weird things when watching a movie. I remember sitting in the theater and thinking, "Wow! This is a great soundtrack!"

  • who here thinks theres gonna be avatar 2? if there is, i certainly hope the story line will be better.

  • You don't watch movies for the story line, that's what books are for.

  • Yes you do, even if you don't realize it, you DO watch movies for the story.

  • Right. Because there always is a story. But you shouldn't expect too much from it. It's not alpha-omega

  • @Religion0

wow, such a simple statement and SO DAMN TRUE!!

this movie is underapreciated by the academy, BOOO on the academy!!

  • @kaitje12345

Why, thank you! Indeed... DOWN WITH THE ACADEMY! Wait... Isn't that where we get our educations?

  • seriously epic...

  • I've never watched this movie before (I know, whenever there's something everyone likes, I never get into it), but even so, I love the harmony and I can see a perfect scene playing in my mind...

  • see it I have seen it 4 time twice in IMAX 3D

  • OMG Amzing im getting goosebumps all over!!

I love the movie Avatar, it's so so cool, the scenery the action, the romance, the spiritual connection with the forest and Ewa ( did i spell that right LOL) <33

  • Yay!! U finally uploaded it!!! Thaank you!!

  • wow, purely amazing!

  • Nice song love it !! :P

  • @MastaMusical When he is talking to neytiri near the spirit tree.

  • this song is so pretty<3 and of course, the movie was fantastic! i think it deserved all the hype it was getting(:

this song kind of remind me of titanic, one of james cameron's older works. he also did the same thing with the theme song of that movie too^^ overall, this song is awesome, and the movie was just as amazing(: the scenery was so beautiful<3
