I got one to hold me over when my Lionel wasn't set up (non-Christmas time), and it couldn't hold a candle to my Lionel starter set. This one stopped running after a year. My Lionel, which was bought 5 years before, is still running without issue.Moral of the story? Buy Lionel, they hold up better, have more features, and are easier for children to handle.

@CarGuyZM10 i have another lifelike train set that was NOT E-Z to set up the track broke after five years but the other stuff is still great! setting up the track was annoying and hard so it didnt last very long because it broke easily but now they have these sturdier tracks and everything else is still working lost a few parts which is my fault though.

@CarGuyZM10 - There are better, longer-lasting HO trains than this that will give your Lionel models a run for their money longevity-wise, and take up a lot less space.
