Put on al vengence cause a wreck so the caution goes out then turn around and get speed then hit the pace car, it glitches and makes the car fly up into the sky and it takes like a minute to get down, if it dosent work the first time keep doing it it will.

I recently dug this game out of my old GameCube games and started playing it again. I never won the Cup championship, only dirt, modified,and truck....so I'm giving it another try! Playing inspired me to look for some videos, hence my stumbling on to this.

@forari55 This game is very rare in stories because its the best of its kind plus it old and not made by EA so thats why its not popular. I myself have it for the ps2. Its great! I've gotten 4 dirt champion ships in a row and got a truck and cup series title in same year. Its easier to race and easier to win race and most certainly easier with career mode, if you know how to win.

I still play this game today i love it due to the physics in it i also have Nascar 06 and 07 and in my opinion this one beats them both in physics.

I've had this game since 2002, and i still play it with my PS2 steering wheel... =) I've always wondered though, in the videos with Alan Bestwick, they call the game NASCAR Heat 2, because it was supposed to be NASCAR Heat 2 at first. But I don't know why they didn't just keep it instead if naming it Dirt to Daytona.... I think that Dirt to Daytona is a way more sick name, I just am confused why they changed the name of the game after it was publicized to come out.

go to daytona speed way then qualify last or dont qualify then when the race starts turn around and go the other way and crash into the cars goin the other way you should make a video like dat

@Member01289 well going at 200 mph i can see a car going airborne. but not hiiting the ground and sliding and then going airborne again, and also fliping in midaire that second time. but i know what you are saying.

@CAlebSangster24 Well, yeah. It explaines the first time airbourne, but ot the second time. At such speed, the air is acting like a vacuum. When two cars collide, as they did in the video, one of the wheels left the ground, air accumulated under the car, pushing it up. In reality, though, when the car hit the ground as it did, it would just keep flipping because it hit loose dirt. If the shocks were soft enough, though, it would bounce enough for air to enter under the car again and lift it up.

@Member01289 i know what you are taling about. its jsut all i am saying and outting out is taht it wouldnt go airborne the second time going at its speed. it would jsut hit the grass from being airbone the first time and start flipping.
