Cricket probably could have done with 1 or 2 more bases at that time, but 4-5 would be way too many.

1. Too much more larva than he could use.

2. Not enough harvesters.

3. he was probably floating that much to rebuild his army quickly but 5k might have been a tad too much.

Day9 had a daily about that, specifically how protoss works with that. I'm not sure exactly which one, but he basically said that you need to keep up pressure the entire game and force them to devote their apm elsewhere. Even if you are doing really small aggression tactics you just need to keep up aggression.

it may be that a race has certain attributes that allow a player to have some advantage, but i think you really mean zerg is no where near the easiest race to win with versus _____
