LOL I always thought that too ! There are often times similar character designs, and then I remembered Code Geass / Tsubasa were both animated by Clamp.

That one guy in the winter village arc looked like Orange... the guilty one.

There are a couple who resemble Lelouche and many more black haired charcters in Tsubasa...

Syaoran is similar to Suzaku... that singing girl in the first arc was similar to CC. And may be some more I'm forgetting.

@AnimeLove97 now that you mention it, Suzaku's character design does resemble Syaoran! (Well, CLAMP did do character desigen for code geass.)

Don't forget, he also appears in xxxHOLiC as the same syaoran from Tsubasa

Read the manga once your done with season 2 since thats where they stop. OVA is when "those two" switch as main characters. Also if you read farther into the manga you discover something that connects this series to CCS and yes this is actually the sequal to CCS.(You'll understand what I mean once you find it)

if you are going to read the manga, read XXXholic also because those books are sister mangas. without reading xxxholic, understanding tsubasa around ch 200 is going to be a bit hard...

Well not really. You don't have to read xxxHolic to understand any part of TRC. But I'd suggest you read it anyway because it is a good series

well, the fact that watanuki appears in TRC could confuse people who haven't read xxxholic... and xxxholic shows another glimpse of the world where watanuki and yuki can do something that could defeat fay wong read. what i'm saying is, watanuki is a very important character in defeating fay wong, and he might actually appear as a character in TRC. those 2 were made as a sister manga in the first place anyways

True true, but Watanuki was the "other" Syaoran that took his place in the alternate time line of the Clow Country that Syaoran failed to save Sakura in. He is an important character and most likely will appear during the Fei-wong reed fight but until then he really doesn't have a purpose or memories...

but the process of gaining back those memories is shown in xxxholic, so it explains how watanuki appears in TRC. Wouldn't it be weird not to know about watanuki b/c you haven't read any xxxholic and in TRC oh there he is watanuki suddenly appears and takes a role in defeating fay wong read...

Well it gives a brief explanation of how Watanuki came into be in TRC when it shows Syaoran's past in Clow Country, and how Fei-Wong Reed had kidnapped Syaoran and how the dimensional witch brought Watanuki into Clow country to replace Syaoran
