i was looking at Alexanders empire maps, And i noticed macedon never really moved into sparta. Is there any reason behind this?

@sethkowns Greek politics. He wanted to keep the Spartans on the outside so that the other City-States would look to Macedon as a counter.

That times sparta was no longer a powerfull and important state, being exterminated by Epameinondas and thebes.

@Armadillo909 That's hard to say. Alexander was a superior military commander. But the army of Julius Caesar was ferocious. It would be difficult to say, but I would give the edge to Alexander for having a superior grasp on Grand Strategy and battle tactics.
