Do you know how I can add pressure to that, maybe with a small pump. I want to be able to water plant beds with a 55gallon or a 125 Gallon tank with a 50'-100' foot hose on the back of my truck.
@envisionlawns I would try a larger hose first. The opening on the barrel is 2 inches. You could use a pool hose with a couple of fittings to adapt it to fit. I think you can get enough pressure without a pump. If you think you still need a pump, I would try a boat or RV supplier. They will have something 12 volt that could run off of the truck's power supply. There is a solar pump available but it is pretty expensive.
@amazonhippie Thanks for watching! Glad to share my knowledge with you all. They cost about twice as much, but they put out about four times the volume, and more than double the pressure. Some drip emitters will not operate properly with a standard gate valve.
This is a great video. i think that there may be some benefits to each. Filling a watering can I would want the 1/4 turn, but drip irrigating a small garden/flower bed it may be beneficial to have the metering ability of the gate valve.

I LOVE YOUTUBE for all these videos. The internet is the most democratic concept we humans have come up with so far.

@mae951 They both have advantages. But, the ball valve cannot clog with debris. If you have a store bought rain barrel, it may be worth the upgrade.
