  • @NobodyLikeAlexa From a music video to Hello Goodbye. ^^

  • yoko bleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ,fuck :(:(:(

  • Who ever thinks there Gay is a fucking idiot and you really should be commenting on this video.

  • i adore this Macca song ♥♥!

  • 3:30 SO CUTE!!

  • This is written for Paul, Ringo,George and Cynthia.

  • shaky cool jajaja coke diet.

  • what???? John wasnt bisexual!!!! between John and Paul there was only a good friendship!!! no more!!!

  • @edwinharrynchis CaffeineClown didn't claim John was "gay" with Paul, she just said John might have been bisexual. I kind of agree, having read some of Lennon's comments. I agree that John and Paul were "just" friends, but if you known someone for 15 years, been with them almost every day, shared your bed with them, I would find it very strange if they didn't at least occasionally have some "thoughts" about each other. I'm just speaking on my behalf, but relationships aren't rly black and white

  • great song!!!! all the world miss the songs of The Beatles!!! greets from London...!!!

I was dreaming of the past, and my heart is beating fast.

  • Okay, John was jealous of Paul. That was just natural. And Paul, he was jealous of John too and still is. Now much more jealous, maybe.

  • Comment removed

  • This was not a Lennon/McCartney Collaboration. The Beatles were already history when Lennon wrote this. It was an apology/love song to Yoko

  • @MrBenbaruchWrong, Lennon wrote the tune 1968 in India.

  • Im just a jealous guy

  • PERFECT JOHN (L)

  • @flyethkatt People are so blind, but luckily many of us understand that John & Paul loved each other.

"We [Penn & Teller] got together to form a business. Lennon and McCartney, Martin and Lewis, they fell in love. Those were love affairs. So the second they didn't get along, it was heartbreaking." - Penn Jillette

  • "Living is easy with eyes closed; misunderstanding all you see" - John Lennon

    Closed minds see nothing

  • @flyethkatt oh dear... of course they were friends, even almost brothers, ok. But then they've lost the touch, growing different. In our lives also, there are people we loved as brothers, when we were 20 but now we've nothing to say to each other, having own ways. I think there's nothing more about this, even in this fab case. And this song - in THAT times had John different message for his former best friend - song How Do You Sleep. So to me your interpretation of Jealous Guy sounds irelevant.

  • Cutest, most adorable best friends ever.

Musical partners. Best Friends. Brothers. <3

  • John and Paul make the perfect couple. I just love them. <3

  • This is not a Lennon /McCartney song, but a Lennon/Solo song

  • This video make me so sad :( I love John and Paul since I was 14....

You've made a very great video for the two best musicians ever, the song is a masterpiece, and I think is friendship will be forever, they are magic together :)

    I LOVE PAUL

    I LOVE JOHN

    I LOVE BEATLES

  • you did a great video!

  • ...by the way... on Imagine LP is a song (along this one) named How Do You Sleep, which is definitely for Paul ...sorry.

  • so many people wanna see John and Paul as loving friends, so many people cannot accept John loved Yoko... if you only could think about what John has to say about it - about that sweet Beatles illusionary picture maintained for showbussiness purpose... I love that music so much, I always did, but I understand they were real people

  • @ilbanito I understand too that they were real and that they were not gay (although maybe John was bisexual, who knows, except him). I understand that these slash-ffs and -videos and so on are romantic fantasies, fiction, never said anything else. If you don't like this kind of romantic, you're simply no slasher, that's ok. And please don't apologize, I hate apologies. >.<

  • @ilbanito never like yoko but as a fan if she made him happy then i was happy for him R.I.P john ur my hero always n forever

  • @ilbanito They were brothers, that's the truth of it. I never liked Yoko, but who am I to say John didn't love her? I think you got part of it right -- that of course they were real people. They had flaws just like everyone else. There was competition from the beginning. They argued occasionally and more frequently in the later years. No doubt. But, just because they fought doesn't mean they didn't love each other. I think they fought because they always knew the other one would be there.

  • @ilbanito john was bisexual yeah yeah yeah, so good, and he loves Paul yeah yeah yeah

  • Oh yes I definitely get the 'love' vibes from John and Paul... I also don't think it was sexual but it was as deep and meaningful as what lovers have.

I mean... even when the beatles broke up John was constantly thinking of what Paul was doing and thought certain lines of his songs were about him.

Though they might not have been as close friends as they use to be it seems like they kept in contact through songs.

  • enough /w the gay-dar!

  • Greatest bromance in history!

  • Throwback joint from noreaga.support newark nj hiphop!weequahic ave bottom block watup!

  • That's not Lennon/McCartney...

  • @TheBeatlesManiaca i think the poster meant clips of lennon and mccartney. at the end they even credit "jealous guy" under john lennon's name alone while "i feel fine" is titled by the beatles

  • U sucki u not nothing about the beatles !!

  • John and Paul wrote many songs about each other, before and after the break up

  • this is such a beautiful song. Probably my favourite Lennon solo song. nice video.

  • this is such a beautiful song. Probably my favourite Lennon solo song.

  • lovely!

  • For a moment i was wondering if Lennon didn't wrote this song like a message for Mccartney, because he wrote it when they were angry about each other... i don't think it is like this actually but it would have been beautiful ;)

  • @etmonq I think it is, this song is clearly written for Paul..

  • they were as brothers...and grew up together...they know everything about each other..and when John passed on..Paul suffered a lot..more than it's been let us known..

  • Comment removed

  • They loved each other like brothers, thats how they loved each other.

  • adoooorable, I LOVE Beatles slash :)

  • I love this song! ha it reminds me SO much of my boyfriend becaues he is so jealous of the beatles becaues he noes i love them so much! ! ! one time he asked me if i love the beatles more them i love him. . . . . . i didnt answer him . . . he got mad at me. .

  • @TheBeatles7337 I understand this situation lol, I broke up with my boyfriend last week because I was too attatched to John Lennon and didn't see a spark in our relationship anymore :/

  • @FruFruKun

R U crazy? U should go to the psychiatrist.

  • @classychick2601 Haha I think it was just a coincidence that I didn't like him that much and was growing an attachment to John Lennon, but oh well haha I love John Lennon he's amazing <3

  • John and Paul, were the main back bone of rock. When they were always together, something strange, yet funny, would go on. Whether it was just them hanging out, or on stage, John would mess with Paul, and Paul would return the favor. They were just simple every day boys, changing the world, touching hearts, and having a few laughs on the way. The Beatles were the best thing that hit the world, if they hadnt met, idk where i would be now.. ^--^

  • Yeah, I think they loved each other more then friends, but not in a physical or lusty way.

  • @pandarane

omg. who cares what kind of relationships did they have? No one knows the exact answer. The main is they LOVED each other. But in what sense?-i think it doesnt matter.

  • this song is so emotional and touching- makes me cry every time. I think it was Lennon's apology to McCartney after both made nasty songs about eachother.

this song used to be the Beatles song "Child of Nature" but Lennon changed the words to form "Jealous Guy" and I love Jealous guy even better

  • I really love this video! It made me cry the first time I saw it :') Paul and John look so cute together and I think they were like brothers... and they sure loved each other!

  • Actually the song was called "Child of Nature," written in India in '68 while John was in the Beatles, but he changed the words after they broke up and it became Jealous Guy (you can find bootlegs of him playing the original as a demo for the White Album).

  • no mcartney about it!! was lennon in '77 when he was solo

  • What was he jealous about? Was it that Mc's songs were more popular?

  • Yes it's a John Lennon song, and it's a great way to remember the Beatles

  • i love this!!!!!

  • I remember one religious education last year and we were filling in the gaps in this song

It was great everybody enjoyed it a lot although not many knew the song before

  • iam a straight man, but if this really happen was a beautiful thing. Love betwen poets, camon

  • @thesidrotten Finally a sensitive clever man! I've never understood why usually straight men have such a problem with beeing gay and with gay men (if J&P actually were). If they were gay or bi, they were just sharing the same situation of many others. Many singers and actors were and still are obliged by the rules of business to hide themselves behind sham relationships and marriages ... what a shame! I mean there are 2 typologies of couples: the bad ones, and the cool ones.

  • This makes me cry knowing that they have been so close and drifted apart, :[

  • I Thought This Was Lennon As A Single Artist

  • @Zcecchine54 You thought right, go on thinking that, cause the name/name above means the pairing of the slash-video. Sorry for the confusion! :/

  • @CaffeineClown

yea i was thinking that too. No biggie :)

  • @Zcecchine54

Yes, Lennon only, but said to be crafted during the final days of the Beatles. They split and the record is released by John.

  • @Zcecchine54 I think you are correct !

  • @Zcecchine54 Tune was written in 1968 in India.

  • I love this video. :D:D

  • Nice video, but just one question; When did Paul McCartney become involved with Jealous Guy?

  • @MrPNE It was written for the With Album the song was called child of nature, available in youtube. Also i have a rare version in my channel, look for it!

  • 'awl steptoe in hard days nights hilarious....poor ringo lol ! love them soooo much, gr8 vid thanks x

  • Loved it! But what does "Slash video" mean exactly? I've seen it a lot of times, but I don't know what it means..

  • @lokitmi Slash emphasizes the relationship between two persons of the same sex, cause you give a slash between the couple's names. :) Maybe my slash videos aren't the best to show what I mean... =3

  • "Mister, can we have our ball back?"

  • This video is making me want to watch A Hard Day's Night & Help again.

  • Hard Day's Night was so good. XD Very randomly funny.

  • great duo and cant say more im not worthy critic

  • this song is MERAVIGLIOSA!

  • wow :(:(

  • His best friend, his soul mate. They went through a hell of a lot together. They both lost their mums at an early age. How could they not love each other. Paul was definately the only person who knew John, and John knew that. Why he shunned Paul is still really a mistery. Certainly not about beatle breakup things. John was definately bisexual and feared rejection more than anything. Paul would know, but being the man he is, he choses to be silent. Fair enough.

  • aw your comment made me almost cry x

  • Sure he loved Macca but somehow he said it only to him. Never admitted it openly. I cant get it.

And my advice-dont read books (and sure dont listen the crap of Yoko)-there r so much lies in it. It concerns break up of Beatles, John and Macca etc. The true is your feelings. Always!

  • That's why I sort of like the theory that John was hopelessly "in love" with Paul. It would explain a lot of his later actions & maybe why he felt so hesitant to show his real emotions openly.

  • John said he had 2 loves in his life Paul (man sense of course) and Yoko

  • When and where exactly did he say this? I know its true, of course, but I'd love to see that in print somewhere. :)

  • This video has touched my heart. xx

  • This song was for Paul.

"He wrote 'I'm Just a Jealous Guy,' and he said that the song was about me." - Paul McCartney

  • John was a jealous guy of Paul but Paul was a very lucky guy to have a friend like John, one of a kind.

  • I think John was very lucky to have Paul as well! Such a great partnership.

  • Of course, they were a lovely pair.

  • Very correct. I saw that interview with Paul where he said that John said himself that "Jealous Guy" was written for him (Paul), ...(not Yoko, as some believe). And, really, how can you blame him? I'd choose Paul over Yoko, too.

  • LOL, wouldn't everyone? (sorry Yoko)

  • @MrMaccalove yeah This is a song for Paul, poor yoko is a crazy woman, i hate that fucking whore

  • @tabb041 oh yeah....I'm SURE 100% the song is for Paul :(

  • Does anyone every get that John and Paul might have loved each other more than friendship. And before the gay bashing begins, I do not think it was physical. Just so dependant on each other cause they both lost a mom and grew up together?

  • Yeah. I think that some people of the same sex can develope a love for each other........one so deep and spiritual, but not at all physical♥ RIP boys♥

  • Yes. There's no doubt in my mind that they were in love with each other, even if they themselves didn't realise that's how far it went. But look at their post breakup songs, and like you said, their common afinity in the death of their mothers. They needed each other so much; the only question really is whether there was ever anything physical or not. I guess we'll never. But I'm content to know just how deep their love ran. :)

  • I really believe that it was not physical (not that there is anythiing wrong with it). I think they were more like brothers, maybe even twins. Both were so artistic that they had a bond that was really deep. Very sensitive to it. Just a thought.

  • Yeah, I know what you mean. I sort of veer between thinking that there might have been some physical element to it, but nothing major, to that there was definitely none at all, and their love was just really strong. Like brothers, as you say, or maybe even like twins. There is definitely some 'twin' element to them, in terms of their art and mind connection. Paul himself has said that there was a kind of 'magic' between them, which I think is a really good way of describing it.

  • @treijackson like brothers ♥

  • @treijackson I agree- I think John and Paul shared a brotherly kind of love, or maybe even father-like looking up to eachohter at times.

  • @treijackson In a sort of brotherly way, yes. And like brothers they fell out over something and felt like they hated each other but songs like this and ones by McCartney to Lennon show that there was still that bond

  • @treijackson you mean like brothers

  • @treijackson It wasn't sexual. For heaven's sake people, you can love someone without it being sexual!

Linda had even said they loved each other, they cared for each other, even though they verbally jabbed each other

  • @TheDorr71 I agree with you. My initial comment stated the fact that it was not a sexual sort of thing. I was trying head off the insecure comments about guys loving each other.

  • Yoko broke up Beatles.

    It isnt cliché-it*s true.

Paul talked about it and he knew better than we why the band split (or splat-i dont know correctly).

Evn John mentioned it in his last interview before 2 months to his death.

    But indirectly-it doesnt matter now.

She were saying him he had to work alone as he had been past the stage of Beatles etc.

  • i like roxy musics version but i truely believe John means every word he sings and it comes from the heart....................im just a jelous guy... aren't we all !!

  • I don't know if that's true coz i've never had that magazine in my hands, but I once read about this song that Macca stated in the feb 85 issue of Playgirl: "Paul McCartney states in the February 1985 issue of Playgirl: "He (John) used to say, 'Everyone is on the McCartney bandwagon.' He wrote 'I'm Just a Jealous Guy,' and he said that the song was about me. So I think it was just some kind of jealousy."

  • If you listen to the lyrics, it could as well be about Yoko, Cynthia, or just any people John thought he had hurt in his life. But I think that'd definitely make sense if these lyrics were for Paul. That fits their relationshionship perfectly well. And that'd be a good counterbalance of the harshness of "How do you sleep?" on the same album...

  • I thought this songs fits perfectly with his relationship to cynthia. John was such a great writer any of his songs can relate to everyone. We will never know because he is gone. I think everyone should leave yoko alone. You can tell John really loved her and she did inspire him so much. He was great with and without her.

  • I have to agree, I think people get on Yoko's case too much sometimes...at the same time though, she did manipulate him quite a bit, and strongly forbade/was against him reuniting the Beatles when Paul offered. While that decision was of his own volition, I don' think she helped the situation any, from when she first entered 'til the day he died

  • It was called child of nature, and the Beatles did perform it a few times during the Let It Be sessions.

  • I think it was Paul and John was really good friends and Ringo and George was really good friends but ofc they all were. but i dont know thats just a guess:-) Love The Beatles.

  • The Beatles did NOT do this first. This is a John Lennon composition!

  • this was actually composed by lennon during the white album sessions under another name, but passed over. He put diff lyrics to it after let it be came out. but your right, def not a beatles comp, all lennon. its on his album imagine.

  • I'm crying like a fountain!

    This is so good..

  • Wow, I only know the version by Roxy Music. Didn't realise the Beatles did it first!

  • I didn't know the version of roxy music. ^^° Thanks for the tipp!

  • No problem. :)

  • @CaffeineClown same here until i found out the truth when i was 15. I'm 40 now. Its John's song from their India days. The song was called 'Child of Nature' and the demo has John and George's vocals on it.

The Roxy Music one was recorded as a tribute to John after his untimley death and topped the British charts in March 1981, i think. It is Roxy Music only number 1 hit to date, correct me if i'm wrong!

  • @CaffeineClown i went to that video and he sang it good but there were a lot of john lennon haters

  • @amelb8 the beatles didn't do it, it was only john lennon.

  • @amelb8

    The Beatles never 'did this',

    John Lennon did.

  • 2:57 From where did you get it?Sorry i'm italian

  • It's from the second Beatles-movie "Help!". ^^y Hi, I'm from your neighbour-country Austria! Greez!

  • Boy it's nice to see the topic of John Lennon bring out the best sort from under their rocks.

  • why would he even write a song for yoko she was a dirty bitch everyone hated her except john i think this song is better suited for paul mccartney after the break up of the beatles don't get me wrong i like yoko now she looks cool but back then she wa a bitch

  • am i hmmmm preety sure im not for one REASON EVERYONE BLAMES YOKO FOR BREAKING THE BEATLES UP SO STFU before commentng with stupid fucking shit like that and i don't need to know her in person

  • I don't think that it's even for one reason Yoko's fault. That the Beatles would break-up was clear for years before 1970. Since Epstein died. His death was a reason to fall apart, not Johns love.

  • Get a grip on yourself, crazy person. You go watch your (lesbian) porn and think about what you've said. Oo!

  • Funny conversation. :) Well, what to say next... This is about romance, that's why guys mostly don't get it. (Romance is porn for women!) I don't think women are disgusting. You seem to become very emotional writing about cocks. Are you gay? Or a frustrated hetero without any contact to nice women? However, don't give up! You'll find ya love too! ;)

  • Homo fantasies aren't more or less disgusting than heterosexual. Of course every human has her preferances.

Most people who do slash videos are heterosexual females cause it's sure all about romance.

I didn't tell you gay, but I considered the possibility and am still kinda betting on it. Your homophobia is just too demonstrative.

John and Ringo were closest? Evidence!

  • This song is so beautiful. Their love (no matter what kind of love it was) was so beautiful. Just see the love people, not the fact that they are both guys. I love bromance!

  • hmmmm this makes me think what would paul say if he saw all of these slash videos.... anywayz very good slash it makes u wonder if john really did write this for paul. i wish he did!!!!!!!

  • I've thought of that too, a lot of times! ^^ But I don't believe that he would be angry, cause he often said he loved John. Actually the Beatles often slashed among them in comments and so on, was sure great fun for them. =) (They all were Slashers!!) And love is never bad.

  • very true love is never bad but i think with some paul or ringo prolly laugh and everything hehe i can see paul's face at some of the slashes lol!!!!!

  • I think this song is perfect for their situation

  • I agree with you

  • We miss you John (and George).

Please come back our friends! :'(

  • Paul had said that John told him it was about him. No reason to doubt him, I think.

  • it is just amazing that those 4 guys were in the same band. BEST EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Actually, Lennon wrote the song for the White Album. It was originally called "Child of Nature," and it's on the Esher demos, with the original lyrics.

  • i'm sure that there was mutual jealousy between them. also, lennon was well known for jealousy- he once punched cynthia in the face for dancing with Stuart! anyway, the song is no doubt about an incident w/ yoko, but so sweet to reinterpret it towards the rift between john and paul. the death of a bromance is always sad. :(

  • but hey! remember! bromance will never die!
