Like this video shows McCain has backpedaled on nearly all the policies that did make him a 'maverick' back in 2000 to win the support of a conservative base that still secretly despise him. He's running on the same policies of a third Bush term, so what's new to cover?

Obama is the fresh voice and is the agent of change. McCain's surrogates have said this election will be a referendum on Obama. If that's the case its only natural he should get the coverage.

Olbermann is the only guy with the guts to counter what the supposedly 'fair and balanced' pundits on Fox News do each night. CBS, NBC, and ABC are too afraid to cover the campaign the way it should be because McCain cries fowl every time they don't give his trip to the cheese aisle of the supermarket as much attention as Obama's sit down with a foreign leader.

McCain is running a poor campaign, in which he rarely touts his own ideas, and attacks Obama every chance he gets.

The ratings are abysmal...but the NBC crowd will subsidize the trash talk for as long as it can.

At least the show is some distraction from having to read about Olbermann on PAGE SIX of the NY POST. God--those ex-girlfriends really did provide too much information on him! Also--small favors--at least he's not doing sports anymore..those shows were absolutely God-awful.

The Republicans are trying to paint Obama as a flip-flopper, because they know it is a real problem for John McCain. If you put your biggest weakness on your opponent, then it blocks them from using it on you.

McCain can change all his positions, but when Obama differs a little bit or changes something small... he instantly become "John Kerry with a tan"
